He did come up with a theory: some horrible stories are going to come out about Ted Cruz because he has pissed on so many powerful people throughout his life and they're going to try to sabotage his candidacy. No one who knows him, aside from Ted's wife, has anything positive to say about the man. That's going to come back and bite him on the ass if he gets the nomination. My guess is that if Cruz wins the first primary, Trump will have a huge showing in the second. If the republicans are going to put a crazy person as the nominee, it might as well be Trump. The republican establishment wants no part of Ted Cruz. It's be funny if Ted won, though, as both the democrats and the republicans would refuse to work with him.
How about a theory of some horrible story? That would be what I asked for. You speak with such an absoluteness. More unbiased people like Ted Cruz than dislike him. What I am simply saying is that there are people who like to here themselves speak that run their mouth about Cruz because they have a vested interest in doing so. No problem. That is their business. The only one going to have trouble when he wins the nomination is Hillary Clinton. When you say things like this it completely removes any doubt you have anything of substance to say about your future President.

No, they like Ted Cruz pretty well compared to Donald Trump. They believe that a Trump nomination is the end of the Republican party. They are truly terrified of this outcome. They will initially go all in behind Rubio, or maybe Christie if he surprises in New Hampshire. If it starts to look like it will be Trump or Cruz, they will line up behind Cruz like shoppers in front of the Best-Buy on Black Friday. In fact, they are reasonably comfortable with Cruz's positions on the issues, it is just his tactics in the Senate that they do not like, which is a lot easier to get over. At the end of the day, if it comes down to Trump or Cruz, all of the Republicans in the Senate that despise him so much will line up to support Cruz, one and all.

First, I was talking about people who personally know Ted Cruz hating him. You know, like every senator in congress? Are you saying that Ted is not a liar and a douchebag?

I think you are confused, I was responding to a poster who claimed Cruz was disliked here because the powerful and corrupt don't like him. As a person "here" who "maligns" Ted Cruz, I don't need an argument, all I need to do is state why I "malign" him. This isn't exactly Rocket Science.
