Spurs have Rocket killer Aldridge and way better defenders. Harden's scoring would just make one game interesting.
What's good is that the rest of the West apart from 4 teams still sucks. Utah? No Gobert and they can't defend so well anymore. Suns? Lol chuckers with no defence Mavs? When they play a team over 0.500 they always lose. They will start falling very soon.
The only thing that gives me comfort is outside of the Warriors and Spurs the rest of the west has been pretty crappy as well. But as others mentioned we have had a cake schedule and still can't get over .500 and we've been relatively healthy. When we start playing the Warriors, OKC, Spurs, Hawks etc we are going to get blown out. 3 losses to Denver?! 2 losses to the Nets?!? WE SUCK
Making the playoffs is the goal of losers. Winning the championship is the only goal. 7th seed is not going to cut it. DD
OKC and Clippers look good now too for the last 8 games. I honestly think that even Sacramento can make the playoffs this year if they click. We can get 5th seed.
Once the playoffs start the season is history. Our players have a chance to step up. Do I think the odds are good given how we are playing? No. Would our odds go up if we start winning? Yes. I believe our team has the talent to make things work. Hopefully they can start getting that talent working before post season.
Even if we got the 3rd seed we still would have to go through a historic team that is the Warriors and/or a team with a historic defence that is the Spurs. Our seed doesn't matter if we can't beat the Warriors anyway.
Whether they are 2nd seed or the 9th seed, the road to the title goes through Oakland regardless. Might as well get it over with early and stop wasting our time. Spoiler

This team isn't built for mediocrity. This isn't Francis and mobley. Expectations are high after last year and these dude are crapping the bed. I'm not happy with 7th seed. I wouldn't even be happy with 4th seed. Stop looking at the record and start watching the games. We suck right now
According to Morey's own philosophy, which is right in this instance. The rockets are in the worst possible place---pergutory. They need to hang up the season and draft some talent. A 7th or 8th seed isn't gonna attract anyone in the FA. I know it'll be really hard to watch the games, but it's in our best interest.
