The deal as constructed doesn't work. It's 3 for 1, and the rockets only have 1 spot open on the 15 man roster. So either the Rockets cut or trade one player, before this trade, or a 3rd team needs to be involved to absorb one of the Atlanta players.

I have zero emotional investment into this team. None of the players do anything for me. I do like DMO and Capela and Bev, but honestly i'd rather start over with a complete rebuild. I'll admit it's mostly because i just can't follow Harden or Dwight so i want them gone, but if they go, so too do the role players that likely wont fit with a new cast of stars.
If we trade JH and DH it's going to take a longtime and a lot of luck trying to get another star let alone two stars here in Houston over the next 5 years. Why would you want that more than just trying to reshuffle the roster around the current group of stars we have now? It's not like they haven't avg 55 wins over the first two years of them playing together. That's pretty dang good
Lmao. everyone should learn how credible sheridan is. Lets see by the end of all this how credible the other guy will be too. " done deal"....
Rockets have no identity and no personality. When Harden is clicking, his game is fun to watch. If his game isn't clicking, the whole team devolves into ugly ball.
Well, if we did trade JH and DH, we don't know how long it would take to get another star. I would think the return on Harden alone would be massive. Probably a couple of VERY promising young potential stars along with draft picks. Also, we really only have one star at this time. Dwight isn't seen as a superstar anymore. We have Harden and a bunch of role players. Capela, DMo, and maybe Harrell are a good start. Then you add in what we could get in trade for Harden, and Dwight. That team would be fun to watch. At this time we ARE NOT a contender. We are not even close to being a contender. This is not last year when we won 56 games. We are now a team that is struggling to make the playoffs. The worst thing we could do is try to make a few small changes to our lineup and hope that a miracle will happen and then we will suddenly be able to challenge Golden State. Are we trying to win championships or not? Why stick with a team built around two players that we know can't win a championship together. The sooner we start the rebuild the better. Don't be afraid.

Because he's averaging an enormous number of shots per game. http://espn.go.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/3992/james-harden
I really really dislike Pelton. I think he doesn't watch any games. This and other things he has said...you say bad things about Morrey and that he only looks at stats and not the game but the real epitome of that is Pelton.
