why would the Pacers do this? They are playing well, and there's no reason for them to blow up the team for what's at best a lateral move with no clear benefit.
I don't know how many more times I have to say it in this thread. Dragic is not very good, not to mention he's on a pretty ordinary contract. He's shooting 40% from the field, 27% from three. He has showcased all of the traits Lawson has this season: * poor defense * an inability to be confident and run the offense (despite having chances) * far too gun shy (refuses to take open shots or looks uncertain of himself) Dragic = hell no.
Trade Harden+Brewer+KJ for Middleton+Henson+Miles Plumlee trade Lawson+fillers (contract) for Jordan Clarkson+pick Trade Howard for McLemore+Gay+Koufus Clarkson/Bev Middleton/McLemore Gay/Ariza Dmo/Harrell Capela/Koufus
*Capela/Henson/Koufus or replace Koufus for Bellineli Clarkson/Bev Middleton/Mclemore Gay/Ariza/Bellineli Dmo/Harrel Capela/Henson
I know it would never happen and I'm not sure it'd even be beneficial to the Rockets or the Cavs, But a Dwight for Kyrie Irving swap would be awesome. We would be absolutely dreadful on defense but watching Kyrie and Harden together would be a blast. LeBron has never had a legit center and the Rockets need a decent point guard. It would simultaneously satisfy a need for both teams yet not satisfy a need for either.
yes totally a link to THE NBA trade machine without an actual trade. Can't tell if satire saying we'll never trade anyone, or if you just dont know how to work the machine
Gonna preface this by saying this has zero chance of ever happening, but its fun to think about. Can't you just make a wink wink deal or is that frowned upon? Two separate trades - second rounder for stevens, and then dwight for dlee, zeller, and a second rounder
No you can't. You are also prohibited from doing ANY trades (even with more teams involved) for a season. Otherwise the league will either have the coach or the player trade illegal. Btw I too have advocated for trading for Brad Stevens but it will take more than a second, a low first.
ok, this is for kicks and giggles who says no to this trade http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=z7cnej8 Houston In: eric Gordon; Rondo, R.Anderson, C. Blairstown Out: D12, Lawson; TJones Chicago In: D12, Ty Lawson; Jones; Caron Butler Out: Rose; Gasol; Hinrick, Blairstown Sactown: In: DRose Out: Rondo; B Belineli, Butler New Orleans IN: Gasol; Belineli; Hinrick out: eric Gordon; Anderson. Sactown will have to give up some picks Houston would need to waive Blairstown and find an additional center DMo would be the Center for small ball - Capella needs a year or 2 before he is ready to be a full time starting center.
Kings are getting Auschwitz'd in this trade. Their best PG and best shooter for Derrick No Knees Rose? I mean they tend to be stupid at times but idk about that. Throw something else in to Sacs In and they'll think about it harder
