Guys, I have read not only this thread but others as well that relate to the Spurs and the players, staff, and organization and I feel like people are not really taking into consideration all of the factors that go into making a decision regarding an NBA team. My opinion regarding the Spurs will be found on my next post:

Comes all star, the Spurs will be the Spurs, while GSW (Curry) will come back down to earth.

They do, I'm sure it will change as the season progresses but he wasn't the best fit to begin with. His style is honestly more suited for this rockets team. He could run pick and pop with JH all game and get his occasional post up a couple times a quarter. He would have thrives here, think of a better version of dmo and that's what he would have brought to the Rockets.

The Spurs now have the best point differential in the NBA.

    Spurs + 13.2
    Warriors + 13.1

    The Rockets are - 2.7

It could be higher, since the Spurs don't run up the score intentionally & rest their starters/important players a lot, but then their SOS has been weak so not all that representative compared to the Warriors historical run.

OTOH, if you use net rating, the number is even more impressive, since they play on lesser tempo/less possessions.

Yeah, GS is still ahead in adjusted point differential, but not by much. The gap between them and the rest of the league is huge.

Spurs on a 67 win pace. And it might only get them the second seed.

I think they will tail off later on. Still I think they get to 58-62 wins.

Rockets would have to go 46-10 to get to 58 wins, or 50-6 to get to 62 wins. This really puts it into perspective how Rockets are doing this year in comparison to the Spurs.

*Everybody is aware and talking about how good the Spurs have been this season*

"Why is nobody talking about the Spurs?!?"
