If this trade went down, I wouldn't be shocked if Morey wasn't done. I'd expect more trades after this one..

It doesn't make sense because of Bud's system and Bud is the GM over there. If he has Dwight as C then he can't have the system he has.
Then he would have said that Atlanta has talks with Houston about a trade as he has done with multiple other teams in the past. Or stein would or spears would.

Right now I'm gonna go by what clutch stated. It doesn't take a genius to figure out someone of the Howard's mentality would be unhappy with his role on this current squad. For God sakes no one has been able to feed him consistently in the paint since he's been in Houston. I mean really, how hard can it be to feed someone that size under the basket continuously?

Oh if that trade gets done, it's only the start.

Lol Houston has no leadership to mentor and keep Whiteside under control.

If the Atl trade is true, is there another one coming, or are we playing DMo at center? Horford doesn't like playing center, from what I remember.

    Oh, and Mike Scott...

I would NOT expect a major overhaul just because of this trade. Maybe you move out Lawson for a PG and/or a wing shooter on expiring contracts, but most everything else will probably stay the same. The good news is you'd have good depth in the front court.

    DMo / Scott / TJones
    Horford / Capela / Harrell

He's our back up. If we trade our starter and start our back up, who plays back up? If you're thinking DMo, I'd rather start him. Capela is still too inexperienced to play 35 mins a game.

It all starts from the owner to the general manager to the coach and to the star players. If we even have any of them, i'm not too sure at this point in time.

Do the Dwight deal, then flip Brewer and Jones for Markieff.

    Bev/Lawson/Mack
    Harden/Thornton/Terry
    Ariza/KJ/Dekker
    DMo/Morris/Scott
    Horford/Capela/Harrell

If you do the whole "Best player on the best team" regarding MVP, then there was a good stretch last year where Al Horford was leading the MVP race last year. (technically....by that mvp definition)

Also Horford could seriously help Harden up his game.. .... ....with how to hitch up w/ a fine woman and not social celebrity hose beasts.

That looks like a 7th-8th seed team in the west for many years to come

The system isn't working as well this year, but then again neither is Houston's, so......

Defensively, Dwight works in any system. If Dwight can't work in your system, then something is wrong with the system.

Offensively, he will do better with a facilitating 4. And if I were him, Bud being my coach would be a huge selling point to convincing me to work hard on that end.

So, you're saying it's an upgrade over this current squad?
