Howard said he is not happy with the Rockets. Howard and Jones for Bledsoe, Morris, & Goodwin DMtheGM pulls some picks away from the Suns, too. (Or not) We put in picks. (Or not) Just make this trade please Lawson, Brewer, & Bev anywhere but here for any positive value --> 3 point shooting from any position --> just spacing and scoring off the bench. We have defence already on our bench. Bledsoe, Harden, Ariza, Morris, & DMo PLUS a bench, too. This season just got real interesting.
Forget Vazquez he just had surgery. And I was wondering why he didn't come to the field trip. Good. Won't get to watch the trash for quite a while.
Appreciate the kind words. Enjoy your posts as well. I agree that Josh was a big loss....much bigger than expected. I think the Rockets really believed his playmaking would be replaced by Lawson, and TJones would take another step forward. Neither has happened, so the bench looks like a disaster. My guess....and this is just my own thoughts....is that this team can't be salvaged. Too much mental weakness....too many breakdowns. Our only hope is that what DMo brings becomes infectious....patience, intelligence, and unselfishness.
General concept. Sac In: Whiteside, Lawson Rockets In: Cousins, Winslow, Udrih Heat In: Howard, Collison I know the salaries don't match. More contracts would have to be thrown out by Miami but it's a decent scenario for all teams involved.
Lmao come on man. Kings and Heat would just cut out the Rockets and do a one on one trade. You really think a over the hill Dwight can net back Cousins and Winslow?
I'm tired of the ball not moving. Indiana In: Harden Ariza Lawson Jones Houston In: Paul George Monte Ellis George Hill
There's an interesting trade rumor out there right now about the Rockets making a trade with the Grizzlies for Zach Randolph and Mike Conley. We would give up Lawson, D-Mo, draft picks, and KJ McDaniels and in return would get Z-Bo, Conley, and Vince Carter. What do y'all think? Deal or no deal?
Why would the Grizzlies want to blow it up? They're a small market team who have difficultly signing star talent as it is.
Heck yeah, ZBo and Carter are two of my favorite players. I doubt they do this, but I really like it for us.
Cousins is a piece of trash that will NEVER win a playoff series. A person of his attitude usually gets booted out of the league before they hit 32 anyhow.
They want both Gasol brothers in Memphis From what I was hearing they want both Gasol brothers in Memphis and don't like their record as it currently stands. I think going into tonight they were only 2 games ahead of the Rockets.
Conley is one of the beat fits next to harden. So hell yes. Zbo not so much. Maybe reroute him for someone like anderson or teletovic.
I did say other pieces. Including Brewer, picks, and other young pieces like Jones. Essentially yes it could.
Houston In: John Wall Nene Hilario Jared Dudley Washington In: Dwight Howard Trevor Ariza Terrence Jones Both offenses and defenses get better. Ours because we'll have a chance to actually get back on D, them because Ariza and Dwight play really solid defense like they always have. We both get better on offense because all three guys shoot well and move the ball around. They get better because they can play inside out with Dwight. Beal shoots like he was born to the sound of a swish and Gary Neal is shooting really well for them as well.
Trade #1 (after 19/01/2016) * Nets gets: Dwight Howard and Ty Lawson * Rockets gets: Brook Lopez, Jarrett Jack and draft picks Why? DH12 wanted to be in Brooklyn a few years ago. Brook Lopez gives us a big center that can score outside (midrange) and inside (with post-moves). Brook's defense isn't elite, but we aren't a defensive minded team anyway. Trade #2 * Suns gets: Terrence Jones, McDaniels, Harrell and 2nd round draft pick(s) * Rockets gets: Markieff Morris and C. Jefferson Why? No comment. Rockets line-up PG: Beverley/Jack/Terry SG: Harden/Thornton SF: Ariza/Brewer/Dekker PF: D-Mo/Morris/Jefferson C: Lopez/Capela
I like how the trades here are nearly always about offloading our worst-performing players "Jones is crap, Lawson that drunk scrub, Brewer worst player ever!!! Howard sucks!!!" that everyone wants to see gone desperately and the reason why the other teams trade their well-performing stars and youngsters for these guys is suddenly "They are really solid pieces, would improve that position a lot" etc.
