Anything on the Cleveland team worth looking into? I'd bet they would take the flyer on Dwights last year to add another round in the clip to fight GS.

I would love to have Horford from ATL, but I don't want him playing Center here. I wonder if they are willing to give up Kent Bazemore. He's Corey Brewer 2.0, He's way better to me.

Idk who would expect that if Whiteside where traded here.

I would expect having to take on McBobs contract, giving up multiple picks, possibly sending Harrell/Dekker.

Howard's leaving his prime, Whiteside is just now entering.

My question is how does Sheridan know that Dwight is unhappy? Did Dwight just call him and say 'bruh im unhappy in houston with Harden'

Need a backup big man for Capela and a ball distributor who can shoot.

That's why there are sources....I dont know if his are valid, but some reporters do have credible sources around the players.

Harden and Dwights game have never meshed well and Harden and Whiteside won't either. I really wish Boogie or Horford could be had. Oh well

I'd take howard for whiteside in a heart beat.

Whiteside is arguebly the best center right now with a longer shelf life. Any added extras from that would just be awesome. I'd straight up give howard, kJ and jones for whiteside, deng and whoever else.

I'd prefer Whiteside. Whiteside's awesome on defense and rebounding, while still scoring 12 a game (and 16 per 36) are more valuable to this Rockets team.

Hassan Whiteside has an 89 Drtg, which leads the league. If you know that stat you know that's crazy and on par with Duncan, Garnett, Ben Wallace, etc. at their peaks. His 11.5% block % would be the highest single season mark ever.

He'd be one of the few guys you'd trade Dwight for and improve considerably defensively while also being a solid fit overall for the team and offensively.

Which is why it has little to no chance of happening.

Meanwhile, DMC would really just accentuate the problems. Poor leader. Poor defender. Inefficient shooter

The only other big man I would want is Cousins. But the dude is nut case. We would need the right coach to keep him from going off the rails. But this team needs a skilled big man, one that can make free throws, can finish at the rim and moves more on the offensive end. Trading Dwight for Whiteside would probably be a lateral move, talent wise. But the Rockets wouldn't be putting 22 mil in the Center position. We could use our resources in other positions.

I think Sheridan has reported some legit info in the past but it seems he's just stating the obvious in his report.

Not to mention if Whiteside could net you Cousins then why tf wouldn't the heat just trade for Cousins instead and cut Houston outnof the trade??

Could we afford to keep Whiteside after this year?
Anyway, I'd especially do this deal if it gets us Winslow. That guy will become prime Deng and would be the perfect SF next to Harden.

Uh, I'd do a Whiteside, Winslow, and Deng trade for Dwight in a heartbeat. Seriously, that's beyond a no-brainer. I could see Miami going for that if they were thinking their window was about 2 more years and wanted to go all in. As for the Rockets, assuming they resign Whiteside, that would give them better depth and make them younger.

Lol there isn't a center out there that can cover up for all the holes/mistakes houston has at the moment
