Lowest usage rate; didn't know that: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Dwight Howard has his lowest usage rate since his rookie season. According to the article, he's sixth fiddle! According to the article, Whiteside will be gone for nothing if Miami doesn't trade him.
So this is how our championship aspirations end. The team is getting blown up and Harden is the only one that is safe.
haha ok... so Sheridan, whom you admit is typically on point with his insight, is somehow off in this particular instance because... why? you don't like the information? just trying to figure out the logic gap here.
Trade him or pay him 23 mill if he opts in next season hmmmmmm gonna be a tough one considering how his skills are degrading before our eyes
I find it hilarious you can pin point this teams struggles and possible down fall on Harden when the entire team is playing god awful. Where has Dwight been? Completely non existent even on the defensive end. Ariza and Terry the vocal Leaders the vets? Oh yeah missing every possible shot they can take. And not to mention Arizas defense is no where near where it was last year. How about Beverly where has his defense been? He's been roared over and over and over this year. Brewer and Jones? Enough said. Lawson? Absolute joke he has no motor or confidence. Don't even get me started on the coaching staff This downfall isn't because of one player but nice try. This is total team effort from the coaching staff on down the last player in the bench. Clearly they don't care.
oh my they would give us so much for dwight? I doubt they would do it and i would doubt dwight wants out. He know is far removed from prime and he knows he is not worth max. If he is not aware of these 2 things then yeah maybe we should trade him.
If true, I don't care. If false, I don't care. DH is either a professional or he's not. Either he deserves his reputation or he doesn't. This team went all the way to the WCF all while giving him the ball less. That said, I'd put my money on it being false.
Sheridan said this earlier too: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Sources: <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Heat?src=hash">#Heat</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Celtics?src=hash">#Celtics</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bulls?src=hash">#Bulls</a> actively making offers to <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Kings?src=hash">#Kings</a> for <a href="https://twitter.com/boogiecousins">@boogiecousins</a>. Report from <a href="https://twitter.com/MikeAScotto">@MikeAScotto</a>: <a href="https://t.co/jVFFQRKI9d">https://t.co/jVFFQRKI9d</a></p>— Chris Sheridan (@sheridanhoops) <a href="https://twitter.com/sheridanhoops/status/676844034950864896">December 15, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I don't believe any of this because it would be too good to be true. Whiteside and Winslow for Dwight and scrubs? Um, sign me up.
Maybe he just does a good job of making up stuff that is obvious. Because this seems true in an obvious way as well.
I don't believe it for a second. First of all, Miami is going to do everything possible to move on Andersen and one other contract to get under the luxury tax this season. They don't want to be in the repeater's tax. The trade (s) Sheridan describe basically push them further into the luxury tax. MIA is looking for a way to move out Andersen and one other contract OR perhaps trade Deng/Andersen in a package for 2 players that can fit in their rotation and knock off $5.6 million in salary. Secondly, giving up Winslow and Deng along with Whiteside basically leaves tehm a huge hole at SF. And Dwight is not that much better than Whiteside to justify that hole. And thirdly, Miami is going to be able to offer Whiteside a max deal. Once again, Sheridan just making up stuff about not being able to pay Whiteside. His premise about them not being able to pay Whiteside is simply false.
