Watch the game, Dwight pump fakes the ball at Harden, hesistates and then throws the outlet pass as if to say don't do anything until I get on the other end. Harden was on fire last night and we didn't take advantage.

No way we pay him $20 - $30 mln, Morey would be flat out crazy.

Let's not forget the blowout loss at home to the Mavs who were sitting 3 starters. The Rockets have squandered an unbelievable number of easy games so far. There's a reason McHale got sh-tcanned after only 11 games.

Early on in the game D12 led Harden with an outlet pass which should have been an easy bucket - but James didnt go get it and D12 got the turnover... believe he was gun shy after that...

Unless Morey is trading him, he has no choice but to pay

a good ole' fashioned hate-thread. Yeah...i'm feeling this right about now. Indeed this thread communicates a nuanced, complex message that requires a great deal of intellectual sophistication: we suck.

    agreed!

Can we just think about something positive? Perhaps someone can link us to basketball pictures from their dong shots folder.

Ball moved well for a good part of the game... DMo looked good til he got winded... Easy dunks to D12 are there if we make it a focus... Thornton always plays with good energy...

there ya go... some positives... :)

another big rebounder was sorely needed.. Dmo was in which was the difference between the previous blow out loses and last night. Defense was non existent on the other games and was at 50% last night. Ball is out of hardens hands lately which is a good move by JB because it get shots taken much quicker which in turn would equal more possessions... that helps with the streaky shooting we have because if we can create more shots then we can get more points. We have seen the offense improve dramatically, we have seen the defense improve slowly, we have seen how valuable capela and dwight both are to provide defense through 48 minutes... #soon everything will come together.

This team seems to be lacking on Pride and Heart. Something needs to motivate them and instill at least some pride. It is a crying shame to watch them lose to some of the weaker teams.

What's next? Are we going to blame Harden for global warming?

On the play that you described, Dwight is about 3 feet from the baseline when he throws the pass. Harden is standing about even with the top of the key and he's facing Howard. That means that Harden is somewhere around 18' from Howard and facing him.

Howard's pass lands just on the other side of mid court (approximately 48' from the baseline) and is picked up by a Denver player who is around 4 feet past mid-court.

So, your target is 18 feet away and facing you and you throw the ball 27' past your target and it's not your fault? The Denver player was much closer to the ball than Harden was. If a player is even with the top of the key, you don't throw the ball across midcourt, especially when the player is facing you.

That turnover was on Howard. In fact, if you look at the 4 sec mark of the video, you'll see Howard motion "my fault" to Harden.
