It's already been proven. The Texans got their 2 most impressive wins of the season with Yates at the helm, they suffered their 2 biggest blowouts of the year with Hoyer starting at QB. If the Texans beat the Colts this week, it'll be the 3 most impressive wins on the season with Yates back there and if the team can win the Colts game and one more on the season with Yates at QB, he'll have done something twice that Hoyer never has done, clinch a playoff berth.
Maybe Yates is a little more than clutch than both. If Schaub was a little more clutch, he'd been a much better QB.
The Jags just beat the Colts 51-14 with Hasselback at QB. Now the Texans will be playing this same team with their 3rd string QB at the helm. Hardly an impressive win and you can say that the Jags win with Hoyer was more impressive considering the state of the Colts.
Impressive in that it would be the first win in Indianapolis ever....and no matter what the Bengals and Jets wins will be the most impressive wins of the season.
5th concusion? That's crazy in a contact sport unlike basketball or soccer. Hoyer should have been out for the season after the 3rd one. As for the qb situation start Yates, sign Tebow to backup. Before anyone says Tebow isn't a BO'B type of player. BO'B's choices have all been busts.
