His rebounding is definitely not 72.

DMo can play the 5 in a pinch, but he really needs to play next to a center. When we get more Howard-Dmo shifts, things will look even better. It's probably time to move on from Jones though and see what Harrell can do.

Agreed, Dmo should start next to Howard or Capela on Howards night off.

And we should jettison TJones asap, as Harrel gives us that energy 4th big....Tjones is just not in the right situation here.

trading Jones and Lawson wouldn't even get us Jameer Nelson in return with an awful contract. ;//

Why do people want to trade TJones for nothing? Don't sell low.

As opposed to getting nothing for him when someone else offers him a deal in the off-season? Right now he's just taking up a roster spot and doesn't belong on the court more often than not.

D-Mo is coming around quickly.....a few more games and he should be almost all the way back.

Last season DMo took 11 games 15+ min. to acclimatize and produce real value on the court.

He just needs to play next to a legit rim protector/rebounder. Doesn't necessarily have to be a C. Capela/Dwight already fit the bill. Harrell could also in time.

D Mo looked great last night. I think people are underestimating what it takes to recover from back surgery. He's doing just fine.

PER36 after 5 games: 19.9 ppg / 5.0 rpg / 2.5 apg on 57/67/67 shooting :) Now if he could up the rebounding a little bit, that would be great. He can't have a 37-year old Dirk outrebounding him.

LOL. What are you saying... they can move Jones for something really great?

He's a RFA in the offseason who is having a negative impact on winning. How exactly are the Rockets supposed to sell high on this one?

Play him 35 minutes and let him have some games with 12-15 FGA, let him score 15-20 points, make some highlight reel blocks and create the illusion that he has a ridiculous upside. Then trade him.

So hurt the team in an effort to artificially inflate his trade value? I'll pass. The Rockets need all the wins they can manage just to stay in playoff contention.

Can rebound to save his life. Sure he scored but his inability along with Dwight and Jones to grab rebounds was a HUGE reason we lost

When he's used as the only big man on the court (meaning either without a PF or with Jones) then rebounding can be a problem but when he plays next to a competent big man like Howard or Capela, there's no problem since he boxes out so well.

A HUGE reason we lost was because Harden was inefficient scoring and the only player scoring worth a damn was DMo and he doesn't fully have his legs under him.
