Watt shouldn't of played. The players are so open on bashing the coach. Intriguing. Our wide receivers were the **** ups
Yates isn't the answer, and I'm not sure a switch matters or not at this point. The same way it doesn't really matter if they make the playoffs or not. Make it, feel good about the season, ok... miss it, get a better draft pick, ok. The difference between Brady and a guy like Hoyer or any average QB, really, is a thin line. A thin, but oh so important line. Brady makes the right reads, the right throws, etc. Mere pedestrian QBs either struggle with reads, or their throws are a little off, etc. Hoyer was slightly off. Sure, he could have benefited from some receivers hanging on to difficult passes, but certainly would have been a lot better if Hoyer's passes were just faster and more accurate. I'm not a huge B'OB fan, but I think you see enough opportunity created out of the offense. In fact a lot of opportunity. Holes for RBs to take that they don't. Open receivers that aren't always hit. This offense can be great, but not with this personnel and specifically group of QBs.
I will say this . . .. Yates' first pass seemed like it floated a bit I was thinking .. UH OH - HERE'S THE PICK 6 Rocket River
Yeah, Yates isn't a very good QB, on most teams he'd be either the 3rd string or not on the team at all.....but he's better than Hoyer.
It will be interesting how Ravens fans react to him cheering for Flacco to get hurt so Mallet can play
Or like how you bring up the argument of Hoyer having a better record than many decent NFL quarterbacks after he says that Hoyer does nothing but cost the team games. He goes on to say how the "just winz" argument is totally stupid. Then, a week later, he's bashing Hoyer by saying that he's only won a couple games this year, and they were against terrible opponents. And that Yates beat two playoff teams this year. And Mallett beat Tampa, who is better then the two teams Hoyer beat, which isn't true. He goes on to say, that's not a "just winz" argument, it just shows those guys are better. It's just circular logic from someone who only understands squares.
Outplayed is something players "add" so the bashing doesn't sound as bad. Ed Reed did similar before Texans released him.
It's just too bad that it didn't happen soon enough to give the Texans a chance to win the game like happened in the Bengals game. I know you are a big fan of Hoyer for some reason, but even you have to realize that without that Hoyer concussion in the Bengals game, the Texans are 4-9 right now and making off-season plans. Instead, Hoyer got hurt and Yates did enough to help the Texans to their 2 most impressive wins of the season. Fortunately Hoyer is hurt again for what will be the most important game of the season so the Texans have a chance.
I'm not a big Hoyer fan. I'm just smart enough to realize he gives us a better chance to win than anyone else we've had this season. I'm also, in general, not a disgusting person who wishes injury on players that play for the team that he roots for. At least you own it, I guess. I find your Donald Trump shtick amusing at times. It's the only reason I haven't made you my first ignore list user yet. Also, you are pretty convincing, like The Donald, that you believe the dumb things that you say. Once you again, someone corners you with all the convoluted things you've said, and you conveniently ignore them. No response to the whole "Yates has won us our two most important games" argument, huh? You love to live on unquantifiable statistics and facts. Things you can just say that can never be actually proven true. Like the whole "Clowney's floor is Mario Williams and Mack's ceiling is Von Miller." That's just a hollow statement to throw out there. No way you can ever assess how true that statement is. And if someone ever approached the statement in such a way that you felt would make you look bad, you'd never respond to it. And then, after not responding to it, you'll turn around and provoke someone with a personal insult because you feel threatened by them. And then, you'll crown yourself the greatest. Bravo, Donniethegreat.
