cut hoyer, skip drafting a qb, and sign some patriot reject as our new 'bridge' qb. we can do this again next season. Matt cassell can play. he just needs a chance. be proud.
I'm 55-45 on starting hoyer over Yates. Hoyer does indeed suck but I don't want to risk our season on a career-backup. There are multiple ways it can turn into a complete disaster . That said, this offseason we need to find another QB imperatively.
hoyer is the only qb in the nfl right now who you can tell will have a bad play even with over 10 secs on the clock. he is rattled so easily.

Which has obviously been the wrong decision for the past few years. I can't believe we threw away another first pick overall on a defensive linemen. This is a QB league. No matter how great Clowney becomes this team will still suck without an above average QB at the healm. JJ Watt has been arguably the best defensive lineman of all time the past few year. What has that gotten us? More marketing deals?
I have more problems with the play calling that Hoyer If they called the game like that because of Hoyer's Limitations . . i have issue with that We need Line help. Yates maybe a little more mobile than Hoyer but not much. Rocket River
TJ gonna lead us to another division title He win BIG games ATL, Cinnci '11, Cinnci, NYJ '15 Next up Indy
I thought he had the most potential of all the QB's... it sux i thought he would be back off the IR by now smh We need a dam QB bad The fans deserve better
Have to wonder if wildcat plays are due to lack of confidence in Hoyer getting it done on 3rd and shorts. I don't think the wildcat has worked once this season so big issue either way like you said. The line had been decent for most part of the season but Newton must have been seeing double last night or something.
Was an awful decision to IR him. He would've been back in 6-8 weeks. Oh well And I say Yates. He has the most big game and playoff experience of the two so why the hell not

Either guy is going to need his receivers to make plays they failed to make against the Patriots. Too many balls that receivers had plays on, but couldn't come up with (though the DBs did great jobs breaking some of them up).
