And how many of those achievements have translated to team success? How many playoffs has he missed with all those personal accolades? Isn't eggball a team sport? Or am I missing something? Is it an individual sport? James Harden success translates to team WINS and playoffs EVERY SINGLE SEASON I'm not the one who said it <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Hopefully I can lose that 'unathletic' tag now... Lol <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/DBWH?src=hash">#DBWH</a></p>— JJ Watt (@JJWatt) <a href="https://twitter.com/JJWatt/status/42436743206674432">March 1, 2011</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I am sure people know he is a troll. They just enjoying mocking the troll for being the moron that he is.
FTW talks about Harden taking the Rockets to the playoffs, but neglects the playoff record... Texans playoff record w/ Watt = 2-2 (.500) Rockets playoff record w/ Harden 13-16 (.448) in games, 2-3 (.400) in series.
Lol dude since you don't even know about Football and it's variances then why make ridiculous, idiotic statements one after another. Like I said the NFL is QB centered league, and the Texans have had more QB changes in the past 4 yrs than every team except Cleveland. JJ Watt does his job at an unmatched level but success in Football is not dictated by one player unless that player is a QB. So literally the only thing you can argue against Watt is that he doesn't play QB. I find it funny You're singing Harden's praises calling him a winner/leader, yet you've questioned his leadership/effort/heart NUMEROUS times this season in the GARM. Also that tweet by Watt was poking fun at the NFL scouts that labeled him unathletic, how about you find the context before you post something...
Agreed. I don't egg ball and I do not intend of watching a single minute of it or learning anything about it All I know is that real leaders and winners can take their team to success across all other real team sports. JJ Fatt is the only loser who needs excuses of position etc to cover his lack of leadership to get his team to make the playoffs. Yes I have questioned Harden. I'm a real fan not a blind kool aider. Having said that, I would call Harden a better leader and winner every single time over Fatt who needs excuses to cover up why he hasn't made the playoffs or why he loses 87.5% of his games in a season. I bet that no team with Harden will ever lose 87.5% of its games in a single season. Losing 87.5% of games as leader = Loser = JJ Fatt
Yeah but it is coming across a whole lot like picking on the r****ded kid on the playground. We should just leave him alone and let him eat grass if he wants to.
Hilarious coming from a guy who called the GSW a fluke team that will struggle to make the playoffs this season. Talking about r****d.... 4-5 times a week. I'm done with work. Hitting 24hr fitness on Elgin and Louisiana right after this post. Wanna come hit shoulders / traps breh? Or you another unathletic guy like eggball players? I don't consider stick ball a sport. Never have I seen a "sport" played by people with huge paunches hanging who call themselves "athletes". It requires zero skill or athleticism to play this farce of a "sport". Rather watch paint dry. Although it is better than eggball.
Pretty ridiculous arguments being used to trash Watt. Over half the teams in the NBA make the playoffs, if that was the case in the NFL, Watt would have only missed the playoffs one season. Team accomplishments, not much difference Harden has 2 first round knockouts and one season where he advanced, Watt advanced both times he made it. Harden was coming off the bench the year he made it to the NBA Finals with OKC and was a no show in those finals. Last season he was invisible game 6 when the rockets backs were against the wall and relied on Josh Smith, Corey Brewer and Jason Terry to get us to the WCF where he turned the ball over a record 13 times in an NBA game in the series clinching win for Warriors. Watt never mails it in, if we had his equivalent on the Rockets it would do wonders. Watt has much more impressive personal accolades than Hardens 1 All NBA first team and MVP runner up. Watt has multiple DPOY awards, multiple NFL All Pro teams, runner up MVP (in a sport where only 2 defensive players have won the award in history. Watt could go into the NFL Hall of Fame if his career ended today, but it's not and he is going to go down as one of the top 5 defensive players to ever play the game if not the greatest. At this point, Harden is just another great scoring guard in league that has hundred through out it's history.
So you want to play this stupid game, eh? Cool with me THIS SEASON Texans 6-7 = .46 Rockets 12-12 = .5 I'm done with a comparison just based on this season. Even with that, I see Rockets and Harden as winners compared to the perennial loser JJ Fatt and Texans JJ Fatt = Loser that leads the Texans to be a loser team. Bye.
i dont give playoff records much weight for short time periods like 2 or 3 seasons. the nature of playoffs is that in 1 year, half the teams have a losing record, a quarter are .500 and a quarter have a winning record. the format is such that only a few teams have good records, but they are really good. one team is 4-0, while eight teams are 0-1. if you go 1-1 you are actually in the upper half for the year. its like a reverse martingale and you need many seasons before its fair.
