hopkins really say "they outcoached us" ? that's not very good teammate of him, but then he can just say well i'm just saying what coach is saying.
Hopkins isn't going to waste his career here like Andre did and JJ is doing. This organization better wake up and finally take the QB position seriously or they deserve players leaving.
He still will eventually leave though I'm thinking. No way he will stay here as long as Andre. JJ will probably leave too after this contract is up. They should leave. This organization is not giving them a chance to play for anything.
Okay...keep thinking that. If the player doesn't want to stay with the team, the team can't make him stay. Hell he might take less money to go to an actual contender. If this team doesn't get the QB position right, Hopkins will be working to get the hell out of here.
Wait, you're saying that the Texans have no hope of not being blown out.... AND YOU'RE GRATEFUL FOR THAT?
No. I'm saying two teams got blown out today. If I had to be a fan of one of them; I'd rather be a fan of a team that got blown out by the Patriots.
That was surreal. It was like, "Let's see how many stupid ways we can line up while still ultimately running up the middle with Shorts."
Did anybody ever really feel like we were gonna win this game? This team still might make the playoffs, but only because the division is so bad. Doing so will certainly make this season a resounding success and Rick is gonna get an extension.
Mark Berman @MarkBermanFox26 24m24 minutes ago Houston, TX DeAndre Hopkins asked about how offense is executed next week if he's doubled like tonight: "The guys that are 1 on 1 have to make plays"
Don't take this as a shot at you...it's not intended that way. But that's the mentality that breeds mediocrity. Everyone that wants success for their team should be pretty pissed off to EVER be blown out.
This isn't the NBA. There are no guaranteed contracts. The Texans will get the best prime years of Hopkins and more if they want to keep him. All teams find ways to keep players they deem worth keeping.
