That offense.... So many gained attempts at the wild cat... Sad that we had to use it so much... Thought that was mostly for Yates... But I guess it's needed for Hoyer too.

    Yates time?

If only there were someone in the front office that could talent evaluate.

hoody and brady have gotten so many people jobs. I'd probably be a critically acclaimed director had i started in the film room with them and recording practices.

Seriously we should have just kept Fitzpatrick and went in with the three from last season. No way Hoyer can be the starting QB next season.

Lol it kind looked like Brady just ignored Watt when he tried to approach him at the end.

    We can talk talent but
this game was not lost on a lack of talent

The Texans could have won or been competitive
    The Defense was good enough

The offense was filled with ****ty play calls and lack of aggression

    THE LONG BALL WAS THERE
Washington just could not make the catch . . the TE could not make the catch or Hoyer could not get the ball there
    but
We should have continued to do it .. . . .

I'd take 5 more Long Ball Throws over the ****TY WILDCAT every day
Sometimes you have to force the ball to your best player
    or
make them pay for doubling him

    our offense did neither

But he can look pretty decent against the worst teams in the NFL.

The issue with the long ball is that Hoyer can't throw it. There was at least 2 plays that would have gone for likely TD's if the receivers didn't have to stop and wait on the ball to come down and then a few others that were overthrown. Hoyer just doesn't have the passing ability for it.

    You mean...

Quarterback play wins or loses games for you?!?!?!

    Who knew?

    Sincerely,

Not always, but sometimes. You can have a QB good enough to bail your team out, you can have a QB so godawful that the team can't overcome it. Had Hoyer not gotten hurt in the Bengals game, the Texans would have never found the end zone. Fortunately, he got a concussion so Yates went in and it helped the offense enough to pull the game off.

Hoyer could have played 30 healthy quarters tonight and I don't think he'd ever find the end zone.

Wildcat wasn't the problem, it was the entire offense. Stay focused people.
