Both of them would have done well to talk less.

But agree that Ty blew the most empty hot air. At least Harden's comments were more self-directed than anything else. Ty's comments were basically a direct challenge to Steph. Plot twist: turns out he'd probably be his easiest defensive assignment in the West at this point.

so i guess telling what he saw in the playoffs which was not exactly untrue is now considered running his mouth. it's not even an issue. only the ones on here want to make it bigger than what it really is.

So as of today, adjusted for pace, our defence is 4rth worst (barely better than third worst which belongs to Sacramento) and our offence 12th best. It won't be difficult to get the offence to top 8 I believe.
Our Net rating is 10th worst. So until we fix the defence this won't change much.

DMo is the key there, he is not a rim protector in the Howard/Capela role, but he is a lane clogger and very long, and plays solid consistent defense.

You put DMo into the starting lineup and all the offensive problems disappear and the defense is much smarter and consistent.

Hang in there Red Nation. It might get ugly as the schedule gets tougher. But, I believe things will get better by the end of the season. Just hope for 100% cooperation and effort from the players going forward.

    Can't stop the inevitable.

Yes, DMo will help. But our defense will still need more.

Just that he can defend the pick and roll well means every pf p&r won't end in an easy score.

We are talking about a head coach change so early into the season

even if that fellow is Mchale, nobody is just going to gulp it down and be over it.

Hope JB shakes things up against the Lakers by dropping the entire team and flying over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Are Joshua Smith and Will Cummings any worse than Dwight Howard or Ty Lawson right now haha

The Rox have seem to lost their way. I mean they don't even try on some defense positions.

They just look around as the player walks in for a easy layup.

As a bball fan that is inexcusable, it drive me nuts!
(Harden being the biggest problem & it seems to be rubbing of anyone)

idk how to fix it, but our 1st and foremost wrong is the defense.

if they could just play an average nba level of defense like last yr., that alone could improve our standing in the west by 2-3 spots.

Dwight is better touching the ball down low than anybody else on the team touching the ball other than Harden and DMo. Anybody who thinks Dwight should be touching the ball the 5th most on this team isn't watching the games

It's not that he shouldn't be touching the ball that often, it's that we give him the ball in the worst situations and ignore him in the best situations. Which is why I am beginning to think everyone is lying, Dwight's knees are shot, and he can't jump anymore. Otherwise, THROW THAT B#$@ UP FOR HIM TO DUNK...

Yeah, but that down low stat is crap, as Dwight is in the 30% range for post ups....he is just a crappy offensive player now outside of dunks, and his athleticism is waning, it is time to send him to another team before he is ready for the glue factory.
