One thing I always expect from D-Mo is to make good decisions with the ball. He stabilizes the offense imo
I enjoy watching him play. That f**king hook shot that bounced off the back board, shaking my head laughing, only DMO and then he runs down the court with a serious look on his face like he meant to do it.
Did anyone else think that his three-pointer looked really pretty? His form looked better than before.
Actually he banked so many hook shots from that spot last year I'm actually thinking he meant it that way. As long you shoot it straight towards the rim when you're in front of the board, it's easier to shoot it stronger so the ball hits the board. Board absorbs the inertia better than rim, so if you shoot it too soft, the ball will bounce off the rim. Shoot it too strong and board will absorb it, ball will go into the basket.
What I noticed is that his release seemed faster. And I think that's pretty important. I don't know what to say about those hook-shots though. I don't think that he planned to bank that skyhook in off the glass. We need a bigger statistical sample to make any conclusions about his shooting touch.
True, true - that is exciting! Did I not notice the ball rotation seemed tighter too??? I am not a shooting expert though.
Yep, probably. I've just re-watched it and I think it has more arc too. I guess constantly practicing the three-ball for months will do that.

Very nice dmo. I'm not Irish nor a big mma fan but I really like that kid Conor mcgregor. He's got what that sport has been missing an entertainer but can back it up in the ring. He's like the ufc floyd mayweather in a good way. Dmo looked good today give him 5 more games and he will Be back starting alongside dwight. His passing is awsome that behind the back pass to Thornton was beautiful.
DMo looked great tonight. Funny we had the D-League discussion b/c playing the Lakers was basically the equivalent of sending him down to RGV for a game. His interior passing was sorely missed -- and if he and TJ can keep knocking down 3s at a consistent clip, the game will be a ton easier for the guards. If Capela had any kind of outside shot I'd be salivating.
That extra pass to Dwight when DMo first checked into the game got me so hyped. How can you not love DMo!!
Word on the street is that Capela has been developing his shot and his form is actually really good. I saw him knock one down on a dead ball situation a few games ago. It looked solid. I guess it's just not ready for in game situations yet. Tried to find a clip but to no avail.
Let's be fair, DMo's 3ball looked money last year when he hitched his foot before release (ie got his feet set and legs into it). When he just threw it up quickly it was more often a miss.
DMO is the only player (maybe Ariza) that has Dwight's back when he goes for the block. The defense looks so good with DMO and Dwight.
