Curry now has 17 consecutive games with at least three 3 pointers made. That blows away the previous record of 9 set last year: Code: Rk Player First Last Games 1 Stephen Curry 2015-11-09 2015-12-11 17 2 Kyle Korver 2015-01-03 2015-01-19 9 3 Klay Thompson 2015-01-14 2015-01-27 8 4 Stephen Curry 2015-02-20 2015-03-06 8 5 Paul George 2015-11-13 2015-12-02 8 6 Lou Williams 2015-03-27 2015-04-11 8 7 Damian Lillard 2015-10-30 2015-11-11 8 8 J.R. Did they start keeping track of this 2010? Kinda hard to believe no one before 2010 had more than six games in a row, especially someone like Seattle Ray Allen?
You're right. Just in last 5 years. Prior record was George McCloud with 12, back during the shortened 3-point line days.
I have watched a lot of games from the past and they weren't as strategic with their defensive game plan as they are now. Also, the only thing they had going for them was the "hard fouls". Sure there is a difference in how the game is called but that doesn't mean MJ would drop 40 a game or so. They would still average what they previously averaged.
It sounds insane and impossible when people say it because we can't fathom anyone getting 40ppg for an entire season. Yet, Jordan averaged over 37ppg for a season...it's not as unrealistic to say he could do 40ppg for one season.
dude some of the shots he takes and makes...its just like there is a magnet...or he has perfected his jedi trick-shot
Damn right he is. Pull up from 32? to win the game? LOL Stop it. <blockquote class="twitter-video" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">STEPH GOAT <a href="https://t.co/L9lsdEZysX">pic.twitter.com/L9lsdEZysX</a></p>— gifdsports (@gifdsports) <a href="https://twitter.com/gifdsports/status/703798156287418368">February 28, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
i actually jumped out of my chair and kicked the couch when he hit that pull up. that was ridiculous.
i was hella jealous that the dubs have curry...now im just in awe of f$%^ing greatness...Lebron is NO longer the best player in the league and Curry has blown by both Durant and Lebum
If he continues, and there is no reason to think he wont, he is the best pure shooter in league history. We may not see one better in this lifetime. And yea. I hate him cause he does not play for the rox.
