Flush out all the crap from the system and get a clean start. Damn party lines and affilitations, lobbyists and private interests...Im personally disgusted by all frontrunners for party nominations. Are there any independents out there that will ever even have a chance to get their message out. Everyone seems to have an ulterior motive.

Both him and Trump are independent running under the two major party. No way around it. 3rd party candidates have no chance.

Nope, people just need to read more American and world history, watch less TV, take an econ class or two and gauge their values and prospects less by their demographics; then politicians and the media will have something more meaningful to report and cater to.

I'm an independent that despises both parties with a passion. The reality is no independent candidate will be elected president. Besides, the only way a president can be successful is with the congressional backing of one of the major parties.

That's just the way it is.

    Our government is corrupted.

And there is seemingly no recourse for correction.

It will continue to get worse and worse, until the foundation of the United States can no longer bear the burden of increasingly terrible decision making.

There will be a catastrophic event of some sort, followed by revolution, and then we having some new, yet to be identified.

    Fairly inevitable at this point.

Honestly, the United States needs to split in half. Let the conservatives do their thing and let the liberals do theirs.

Ross Perot came the closes but he exposed the fatal flaw in his campaign
The reality is independent parties need to play small ball

They too busy trying to hit home runs they striking out
    They never will . . .

They need to get Mayors, Councilmen, State Senators and Reps, eventually US Senators and Reps .. .

Then we become Iraq and Iran? India and Pakistan?

The thing is .. . .The marriage between government and business is too strong
it is probably a large portion of our problems

The ability to bride officials is a part of doing business on some scale
Peddling Influence in the government is a separate economy these days
    Its a thriving market

I believe that you are 100% correct. The enema the country needs is a violent revolution. The only way to clear out all the things that need to be cleared out if any meaningful change is going to be created can only be accomplished by an uprising.

Ross Perot did not come nearly as close as you think. He mucked it up for GHWB and gave us Bill Clinton, but was never within sniffing distance of actually winning the election.

we, the citizens, need to overthrow the government and take our country back. that's the only way to fix this.

it won't get fixed with politics - thats for damn sure.

What this country needs is to do way with politicians that make a a career if it. Do away with lobbyists all together.

Both, fundamentally, are counterintuitive to the greatness that went into establishing this country.
