UGH. So hard for me lol such a dillema. Ask any Bucks fan and they would say yes lets do it. Ask the FO and they will say NO. So in the end if I want to be realistic and give a straight answer here this trade, even though it can make sense for all teams, will not happen. I give it about 1% chance. The reasons it will not happen is Lawson's character and personal problems. And because Bayless is Kidd's BFF. Maybe they will trade Vazquez but don't think for Lawson maybe some other pg. They may trade Ennis as well.
Yeah..that's not smth I can go behind. Oj is worth much more than Bayless. And Vazquez. He's much better defender and playmaker and the leader of the team. Anyway the problem is Lawson. That's what is holding any trade between the two teams back. And I'm not talking about his on court perfomance I'm talking about his personal problems. As much as Kidd had personal issues as a player he's not willing to put up with anything from the players. Now IF Lawson's personal problems with alcohol and motivation are overstated and the team does their background check and are left satisfied then sure a trade like Lawson for Vazquez and Plumplee can happen. But I don't think it will. The team puts very much importance into character they are not like Morrey. That's why I don't think it will happen. Same with Utah, I dont think that they are interested in Lawson for that reason.
Ok, so trade Dwight. Now, where do you get the defensive anchor for this team? It's real easy to say Dwight's gotta go. But it's a much different thing to come up with a defensive anchor that is a difference-maker and can man the middle for this team defensively for a championship run. On top of that, this team already has a rebounding deficit. We have been outrebounded in 13 of our 22 games. You take Dwight away you gotta bring in a defensive anchor and that guy had better be able to board his behind off. Otherwise, you're just tearing the team down and expecting to go to the lottery. Is that what you are proposing here, go to the lottery this season?
What about Dwight+Ariza for Noah, Gasol, McDermott, & Snell... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=q7duca3 Likely too much to give up for Chicago but the center position is certainly their weakest.
The best trade options IMO Bulls,Nets, andCeltics. I really would love to have Bostons picks. I like the Chicago Vets(Noah+Gibson would love these two.) Nets(J. Jack is what Ty Lawson should be for us, but Jack is also a True Vet and could very well be a good mesh with Harden).
You know if you can get David Lee, and Avery Bradley plus that nets 2016 first round pick. Add jones in there.. Rockets would be tanking but that pick could net us someone to build around harden.
Why would Boston GIVE us that pick on a rental in both Howard and Jones? If Howard was tied into a contract for 2 maybe 3 years then that would work.
I feel like Noah and Gibson would be perfect...perfect both personalities and styles for this team. All I see is winning attitude between those two.
If the Rockets traded Dwight, it would almost certainly make convincing future star free agents to sign here much more difficult. The exception being if Dwight ask for the trade, something he can't do without further damaging his own public image.
Nah it wouldnt if we traded him to a contender or at least a good team. Its not like he was traded right after he signed. But he wont return bradley and the bkn pick no way. Right now wings>>>>>> centers.
