Again. Please answer. How many times Harden has failed to lead the Rockets to the playoffs? How many gold medals does he have? Now go figure out how many times JJ Fatt has failed to lead Texans to the playoffs? Now who is the loser and who is the winner.
I.....I'm at a loss for words. I mean I have seen your signature, but now you are actively saying this... cmon dude. It's not like we are asking you to be a Tom Brady fan or a Dez Bryant fan... This is JJ effing Watt. Houston loves Houston man.
I'm a ROF - Rockets Only Fan. I just don't get why people come to a Houston Rockets website and prop up a loser like JJ Fatt who has repeatedly failed to lead the Texans to the playoffs while putting down a star in Harden who has taken us to the playoffs every single season he has been here.
All grandstanding aside, why exactly do you hate JJ Watt? Houston has a top 10 defense and top 3 passing defense largely because of the attention he demands and the pressure he brings. The Texans suck because 1) the GM is garbage and 2) they haven't drafted or signed a franchise QB in the entire existence of the franchise, unless you consider Schaub to have been that guy for the year or two he was at the top of his game.
Eggball fans can't answer a simple question. How many times has Harden failed to lead the Rockets to the playoffs? How many times has JJ Fatt failed to lead Texans to the playoffs?
I hate excuses. James Harden had a really bad coach, one of the worst in the NBA and still led the team to the playoffs every season. That's a winner Stop making excuses for JJ being a bad leader and loser.
1) I'm not making excuses, I think the Texans are a mediocre franchise and frankly, I don't care for football that much anymore 2) An elite football defense rarely compensates for an anemic offense. Even the Ravens had some offensive firepower during their wins. The Texans have never had that kind of talent - and it's not an excuse, their front office has failed to go out and get the QB that they need. In fact, the only position in which one can point to an individual as the reason for success or failure is the QB. 3) JJ Watt has put the Texans on the map nationally, for better or worse. There is nobody else on that team with that kind of talent or star power. Pointing fingers at him for the Texans' mediocrity seems curious given how many holes there are on that team.
I did not bump this thread. Some troll bumped it to prop up Fatt while unfairly criticizing and flaming Harden.
1. I agree. I don't care for eggball at all 2. No idea what you are on about 3. I disagree. Still a loser team mainly due to a loser leader. Real leaders can take their teams to playoffs.
LOL at people taking FTW seriously. The man despises football and everything that it represents. He has that right. JJ Watt is just a part of it. It's funny how irate Houstonians get when someone denigrates the city's favorite son, JJ Watt.
Everyone has a right to be a dumbass. The rest of us have the right to mock said dumbass. In this thread, no one is dumber than FTW.
My point is that the success of a franchise usually hinges on more than having a top 10 defense. Baltimore had many top 10 defenses but only went as far as their offense took them. You gotta have both.
Exactly. So he is nowhere near as good as you lot make him. JJ Fatt play = losses + season of missing playoffs. Just an over-rated player who can't elevate his team to wins. James Harden's play = wins + playoffs every season
Since JJ Fatt entered league as an eggball TEXAN Regular season Texans 39-37 = .51 Since Harden joined Rockets regular season Rockets - 166-103 = 0.62 Rockets >>>>>>> Texans Harden (Winner) >>>>>>>> Fatt (Loser)
Lol dude I don't even know how I can have a rational debate with you when you are clearly just spouting nonsense but what the hell... JJ Watt - 2 time Defensive player of the yr. and looks to be a shoe in to win it again this season - Voted 2nd on MVP voting (2014) - Voted #1 player in NFL top 100 last season - First NFL player to have 2 seasons of over 20 sacks - First DE to score 5 TD's in a season since 1944 - All NFL 1st team 3 yrs. 2nd team 2011 - 2nd Youngest to 70 sacks after Reggie White. - Consistently at the top at almost every defensive category. I can post numerous other achievements but I don't want to clog the page. I don't think you understand the game of Football, it is more QB centered, plus there are 52 players on an NFL roster compared to around 15 in the NBA. He's been to the playoffs and won the division twice. JJ Watt is a once in a generation type player, has been compared to the likes of LT, Reggie White, Dick Butkus. Just recently Patriots coach Belichick compared him to LT. This guy is the definition of a player that's lives, breathes Football and has more heart than any NFL player I have seen and his work-ethic in unparalleled. Also there's no way an "unathletic" player would be able to do this.. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/efB1gNszf3U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
