Don't intend to insult you... ...but I think as it pertains to this topic... ...and the whole "cherry-picking" theme... ...there are as many facts as one would need (pro or con), if they're looking to build a narrative. But two frames of reference for you, because despite being a brainwashed (or brain-dead) liberal troll of a Negro...I'm really soft and sweet deep down inside...that I used: 1. Paul and Jesus: How the Apostle Transformed Christianity Paperback – November 26, 2013 by James D. Tabor (Author). Pretty sure the guys a liberal hack...but he's not any more or less educated than Ken Hamm...and just as important...a wonderful thing called a bibliography at the end of the book...to see his source reference material and things like that... 2. The New Testament (Gospel of Mark, Chapter 9 verses 38-41)..."Whoever is not against us is for us..." Enjoy...
You think that three people in 6 BCE were possibly members of a religion that was founded hundreds of years later? Were they also time travellers in their own right, or were they just visited by time travelling Muslims?
Nah. Those three "..wise men..." may have been from Babylon or Persia (some guess they might have been Jewish, affording for the diaspora of the Jews from their homeland)... ...but Judaism and Islam have at their roots a core belief in Jesus as a prophet. And both are Abrahimic religions, coming from one acknowledged source. But that kind of thing does make you wonder, doesn't it? I mean come on... ...why COULDN'T Jesus have rode around ancient Palestine on the back of a velociraptor?...
If you had actually taken the time to look at the article then you would see that the number is actually pulled from the Tax Foundation's estimates. Do you consider the Tax Foundation a liberal rag also?
Corporate Income Tax: Eliminated; Business Flat Tax: 16 Percent The corporate income tax – the source of endless waste and fraud in our tax system – will be eliminated. No longer will American businesses face the highest top tax rate, 35 percent, in the developed world. The trend of American companies and jobs moving off-shore will stop. Instead, all companies will pay a simple, low rate Business Flat Tax of 16 percent. The tax will be based on revenues minus expenses such as equipment, computers, and other business investments. If you don't keep shoveling away the bull****, it will bury us, because they won't stop making it. The proponents of gridlock are making money on it and paying their minions to keep it up, advocates of reason have to do it for the love of reasoning.
Ted Cruz has been working very hard in South Carolina, the third primary state. He is also benefiting from the decline of Ben Carson. I know this forum is virtually jam-packed with anti-Christian bigots, but please, do try to control yourselves, if you can. Cruz was averaging 4th place in South Carolina in the most recent polls in November, so that would be a nice step up in 30 days. If he takes half of Carson's support, that would bump Cruz up to 24%, six points behind Trump. And that assumes Trump stays at 30%, which may not be the case. RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary Cruz appears to be positioning himself for a great chance at a win in South Carolina.
Heard a Cruz interview with NPR this morning. Every time I hear him, I like him less. You're right. Terrible comic with terrible, terrible half-assed logic. Worthy of being in a Ted Cruz thread.
I think most of us admire Christian tenets, we just think most people who call themselves Christians don't attempt to live by them. i.e threatening sinners with an eternity in hell rather than sharing with them the peace of mind of an ethical life.
First of all WOW. I haven't typed as much as you did in that post since I was in college a few decades ago. I would have to get my one of my kids or my secretary to type that much. Okay now I will get to my point. You mentioned Mark because according to you it doesn't and I quote "and makes no mention of a “virgin birth” or miraculous ascension into Heaven by Jesus after his death…the linchpins to Jesus’ “divinity” (and Christian belief in him as pre-existant Son of God) like the other subsequent gospels do..." yet the book starts of with the following: " The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God" not to mention that it talks extensively about the death and resurrection of Jesus in Mark 16. That really blows your theory out of the water of the book not talking about his divinity. I do not expect you to believe based on what the books of the Bible say including Mark, but please do not distort the actual words in the book as though it does not say what it actually says.

A Cruz candidacy is only slightly less likely to insure a Democratic landslide as Trump. I hope either one is the GOP nominee. Better yet, I hope Trump runs 3rd party as a final F-you to the GOP.
