Donald Trump wants to ban ALL Muslims entering the US

Even in context it makes zero sense

what does we don't know what's going on even mean. What is a temporary ban while we figure things out. What is there to figure out during the ban, are they going to raid Mosques or something or are they going to round up Muslims in internment camps.

That statement like most statements from him are total horse shet and doesn't make logical sense. And the funnier thing is people like him putting this non-sense "in context".

 

Isn't that what people said when they put Japanese Americans in internment camps? What does "until we figure out what is going on" mean?

 

Trump is appealing to the less educated/poor people.

He's what "would happen if the comments section became a real human and ran for President."

 

Pretty much any major city in the USofA. Houston's always had great Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food.

 

With the dummy parade called the GOP, I get the feeling even though they hate Trump, they'd love a smoother talking and sharper Trump with the same attitude.

I just read an article on Carter banning Iranians during the hostage crisis.

 

As an Iranian I am deeply offended and want Carter to be compared to Hitler. SMH bigot!

Well, can't comment as to whether the poster can read (or simply has things read to him by the typical right wing wacko sources), but it appears he can't understand the significant differences between Carter's actions against Iran and Trump's statement as to what he would do to people of the Muslim religion.

You have to be pretty spotty on your American history and Constitutional knowledge to not acknowledge the difference between tests of nationality and tests of religion.

And you'd have to be pretty spotty on your geography and religion to not realize that religion encompasses geographies.

America has always sought to discriminate against nationalities, it was wrong then, and it is wrong now. What Trump is proposing is a whole level of wrong that has NEVER been done in American history. There is an explicit reference in the Constitution to religious tests for public office, probably because the founders based America on the notion of freedom of religion. The fact that you aren't directing your rage to this violation of America's moral foundation is very telling.
