Hinkie and morey proving this season that analytics cannot be the primary thing in winning. You must account for chemistry and pay calling. Its not all analytics

The 51-point smackdown tonight by the Spurs was a nice parting gift for the Hinkie regime in Philly.

And while you write this. the most analytics based team in the NBA is setting records that the showtime Lakers and Jordan rules Bulls never came close too.

I'm not sure Philly's sucking has much to do with "Analytics". They have been tanking the old-fashioned way. The only difference is Hinkie had the nerve to do it for 5 straight years.

I'm in agreement too, the issue that Hinkie got wrong is he was horrible with media and extremely arrogant with other peers. You cannot get away with that.

The media, in particularly SI, HATE Hinkie. Almost all media personnel hate Hinkie, and other GMs/Teams exec regard him as an arrogant prick.

It's been just two years I thought; the Embiid draft, and this Okafor draft. It's just the way he's done it and how he's alienated people, players, etc.

He's created a toxic culture, players are pent up, etc. It's all about forgetting the real life consequences of paper analysis.

Agents hate Hinkie, too. No one is signing in Philly unless it's used as leverage.

Truth is, if Hinkie gets fired the next GMs is going to look a godsend. He's accumulated so many damn picks that he's cashing out in these next 1-3 years. That's not a bad plan, I hope they let him see it through.

Not just that. Colangelo was hired to grease the skids on Hinkie's exit and hire his replacement in the offseason.

It's good the Sixers owner realizes the need to bring in someone qualified to hire the next GM because he royally messed up last time.

Someone should give Hinkie a hankie. The man has to be weeping over the erosion of his power before the ultimate fruition of his plan, whenever that's supposed to be.

Whenever you see a person hired for a position between the Owner and the GM, you know that GM's days are numbered. Hinkie, Im sure Morey has a spot for you somewhere here.

He royally ****ed up relations. You can't do that.

I don't think his drafting has been that terrible.

I treat my peers and co workers with the ultimate respect. I learn from them, and I know to be diplomatic in my relations. On a forum with a bunch of dumb french fry fat ****s, no i do not care.
