    I am pretty sure US history is required to pass high school. I think government class is requirement for most colleges as well.

    This is going to be very dangerous because this is going to open the door to Presidential candidates saying extreme things and it being viewed as acceptable.

    I do agree with one thing Trump said, there are large amount muslims who come here and mooch off the system despite having a hatred for the country that is giving them all this stuff. I met quite a few.

    People have been saying this every time he says something ridiculous the last few months. The normal rules simply don't apply to him - the 30% of the GOP base that's picking him *likes* this kind of rhetoric.

    I don't think it will. You have to understand that the people supporting him have supported him throughout all the stupid things that he has said, his supporters are people devoid of rational thought....its all "but... but Trump speaks his mind derp derp"

    Trump is one man, so he doesn't really scare me....its the fact that we have so many idiots in this nation that does.

    I completely understand but there is a breaking point. This could be it. Or maybe not.

    If his popularity surges again, then the GOP might really be in deep trouble because the party could be tarnished for quite some time and his candidacy will be hard for them to live down. That is, unless they make a forceful, continual effort to renounce Trump's extremism which ain't gonna happen during the primary.
