I really think he will be a great NBA Head Coach one day. Already head and shoulders better than McHale.
False. Why aren't they practicing? Steph Curry is probably practicing right now- I hope we have a video of it so we can see if he hit 70 3's in a row at practice or not. This just proves James Harden doesn't care about winning.
I have seen several people post this, and I really wonder why. What has Bickerstaff done so far to prove that to anyone? Sure, we are on a mini-winning streak right now...with wins against Philly, New York, New Orleans, Dallas and Sacramento. Sure, we are starting to look better. Shots that we weren't hitting at the beginning of the season are starting to fall. Beverley is back and D-Mo is back. Ty Lawson is starting to figure out how he fits. I think that Bickerstaff will be a fine head coach in the NBA. But so far, I haven't seen anything that points to hi being 'head and shoulders better than McHale.' We are going to need a lot more games and a lot more data for that.
Please tell me this thread is a joke. I'm rooting for JB and I hope he winds up being the guy, but he still has a lot to prove. Let's see the team play consistent defense for 48 minutes. Let's see them show up from the opening tip every night. Let's seem them stop letting other teams back into the game after they build a lead. Hell, let's see them actually build leads on a semi-regular basis, especially against inferior competition at home. I think the problem is McHale set the bar so low(especially this season) that JB looks like a freaking genius compared to him. But right now, we're the 8th seed. Expectations were far higher than that, and JB needs to fulfill those(or come close to it) before that interim label is removed.

It's one thing to be a players coach and a totally different thing to be gung-ho about sucking up to the players. Look at the vid, he's the most dramatic one on the dance floor! It's almost as if he's terrified to get on Harden's bad side for fear of being McFailed! I know this is a party and Bick's is still fairly young, but there has to be some boundaries between a coach and his players! Being one of the guys is going to get you NOWHERE, respect and a solid, tactful game plan will get everyone on board and start believing that there on the right path! If he wants to be the black Steve Kerr he needs to follow Steve Kerr's example! I'm not sold on Bicks as being the coach that this team needs, BUT I do want him to do well! If he does well the TEAM is doing well, and I can't root against my team! I hope my take on this is pure folly, because I do think that we have the talent to contend and perhaps surprise the Golden State Weirdos! GO ROCKETS!!! ....... ....... .......
