Not the wizards because even though their GM is stupid (so in a vacuum they would be a good candidate to acquire Brew) they are in a tight position for next year with the moves they are planning on. BUT they are an excellent candidate to throw their first lottery protected to get Jones. Getting Jones even though it would be a gamble (they would have to hope that no team would throw Jones a good offer next summer) won't affect their capspace and then after they are finished one way or another with Durant they can resign both him and Beal using bird rights.

Can we somehow get Luis Scola? Dude is a legit stretch-4 now. Shooting threes at 43.8% this year.

Yeah, on 1.5 attempts per game. So he's making less than 1 3 per game. 0.7 per game, to be exact. So no he is not a "legit stretch 4"

Good enough to keep the defenses honest.

Lawson, Markieff and pick to Pistons

Ilyasova and Jennings to the Rockets

KJ and Jones to the Suns

    Beverley / Jennings
    Harden / Thornton / Terry
    Ariza / Brewer / Dekker
    Ilyasova / Motie / Harrell
    Howard / Capela

Gets us two shooters, Terry can hold it down until Jennings comes back next month.

Why put DMo behind Ilyasova in the rotation though?

    Seriously? BECAUSE SOVA IS BETTER!

Or because Dmo is coming off of back surgery and probably won't start for a while lol.

Better is arguable. What you can say is that Ilyasova has the data to back up that he is who he is in his particular role.

There is also data to show his decline since 2012/13 mostly due to health. Ilyasova hasn't been able to stay healthy in 3 seasons. That's something to be concerned about.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't still mind trading for him. On a team like the Rockets I think (but can't predict) his role would fit like a glove next to a guy like Harden, and probably Howard as well.

But I think as bad as the Rockets have been with their team defense this year, I'd have to say starting D-Mo might be a better idea at this point.... assuming he's healthy. But the bigger question to ask regarding D-Mo is currently... Will he be able to beat out Capela??? I'm really liking that Capela/Howard front line, and even with the offensive limitations he has, the defense and rebounding more than makes up for his lack of perimeter skills.

But back to Ilyasova, I'd be happy to trade for him of course depending on what we are giving up to get him.

At this point we don't need to take anymore risks on injured players. I say Brewer and jones for Morris and we're back into serious contention. He's athletic and has a nice stroke to fit our team mold and KJ gets moved up into the rotation.

    Bev/Lawson/Terry
    Harden/Thornton/
    Ariza/KJ
    Dmo/Morris/Harrell
    Howard/Capela

I'm not sure how that lines up financially but if it works go for it.

Morris Brothers reunited again...makes some sense. KJ and Jones and a pick would be more likely accepted for Morris depending on how willing they are to let him go. Plus Jennings and Harden have great chemistry. Would be nice to see.

I would be totally pissed at that deal. Jennings is coming of a bullies and hasn't even started practicing, Ersan is loosing minutes to Marcus Morris and. Is declining. Lawson at this point is better than Jennings. This is a bad deal and we still have Brewer. Hate hate hate it

Kj and Jones is not enough salary for Morris but other than that this is one balanced realistic and fair trade idea for all parties involved.

I think Ilyasova for Morris straight up has a lot of legs behind it.

So I'm still confused on whether or not we have 1.5 mill to work with or if we have to match dollar for dollar, but if we do have room the following trades should work.

KJ, Jones and Dekker for Sova, Hillard

KJ, Jones, Dekker for Aminu, C.Alexander

KJ, Jones and Dekker for Markieff*

    KJ, Jones for Casspi, Butler

    KJ, Jones for M.Williams

Throw picks in any trade where seems fitting.

For the Markieff trade we would have to sign a Dleague minimum player to meet 13 roster minimum.

And there isn't a trade package for Anderson that's works because he makes too much money. If we where to go after him we would have to involve someone like Bev, Lawson it Brewer which would make the trade very complicated.

In 2 days you would then give your right nut to get Jamal out of Houston
