No. Hopkins and Washington should have caught those. They were bad throws but you make one handlers look like a piece of cake. The penalties were awful. The QB was good.
Hoyer did well for 3 quarters though, would have been better if they had brought in Yates to close it out.
I'm speaking of the second half. And yeah, those balls were good enough. Hopkins and Washington should have caught those. One to Washington, one to Hopkins, one to shorts, and another to shorts.
This was going to be a tough game to win but way too many passes off target and and drops. Easy to put this on Hoyer but all three starters had multiple drops that should have been caught. Season will come down to game in Indy.
Neither team wanted to win if Buffalo played like they did in the first half the whole game they would have wone by 17
They clearly weren't or they'd have caught them. When you throw passes behind receivers, you can't expect them to catch it.
Not sure why people are blaming Hoyer. He is what he is, the defense screwed up by not defending the running game. Hoyer was good enough to manage the game. There was no bigger missed opportunity than that Hal missed pick 6
How has no one on defense pu ched Hoyer in the face yet? All that work and he **** it up ao many ******* times
Games like this are a reminder that you need good QBs in this league to be taken seriously. Unless you have a defense like the 85 bears or 2000 Ravens, having mediocre to bad QBs is a dead end.
well what can you say other than bad hoyer showed up in the late 4th qtr, hal dropped a pick 6. =/ 14pts. cecil short's had the defender beat by 5 strides.
Yeah, no. I don't know what you're seeing there, maybe you could argue Washington depending on the route, but nothing else on that drive was near accurate enough.
