Why would they have to if we're comparing the totality of 2 players vs 1? What really happened..... BMoney made an over-the-top comment that has no merit. He didn't even limit his statement to mere offensive. Harden isn't better than Lawson/Rondo defensively either.
Ole buddy is tripping for sure but you do know a lot of teams would have taking Lawson in a heartbeat. So let's play him down like he's some type of scrub or locker room cancer.
Even at the very least if you're implying Lawson and rondo are equal to harden offensively if not better than I don't know what to say other than you just don't watch enough basketball. And because of that you might want to refrain from the usage of the word "simpleton".
Harden does have a clear shooting edge when considering both players. I just think passing, taking care of the ball, and court vision help make up the difference. And again, BMoney's original statement wasn't even limted to offense. But I understand why 10 posters, included the OP, has bypassed defense. :grin:

You do realize Harden has more win shares and value added this season over evey player in the league except curry and Westbrook. Him and lebron are the only players over the past 3 seasons to be 60% ts and top 5 in wins. Please- I am not the one who summarily dismissed the best player on the Rockets since Hakeem on a Rockets fan forum. I'm not the one who looked like an assclown as Harden dominated in the 4th with 10 points and 3 dimes while Lawson sat on the bench and Rondo was limited to 3 assists and zero points. I'm not the one who is talking about Lawson and Rondo's defense- newsflash: they suck as much as Harden for the last few *years*. Look it up. Let's put it this way: 30 out of 30 NBA teams would trade Lawson and Rondo for Harden every day of the week. I suggest you get your shinebox now.
So many people on here uses the HATE word so damn loosely. You can not critique anybody game or talk about what's actually going on the court without some wise guy coming on here calling you a hater. Yeah Harden hasn't played bad not once this season. He's not turning the ball over and he's been a lethal weapon from the arc thus far. And man he's playing defense on the level of the great Michael Jordan. Yes his game has picked up and he's starting to trust his teammates more. He still has to work on his defense though. Dwight had a monster game too. Jones had another solid performance. It was good to finally see Dmo out there. Bev played another solid game as well. GOOD WIN
