I do see it and it's great. An isolated good game doesn't really change anything though. He's had good games before, he'll have good games again. It's not that he can't have good games, it's that they are so few and so far between.

    T. Jones will be a double-double player when it's all said and done. Its just going to be an ugly ride.

I see you can't stand being wrong about a player that you do like. Dude the same could be said about Dmo as well, so why are you only picking on Jones? What is your real reason behind your hate?

    No, it really couldn't.

Anyway, I know you are far too biased when it comes to this issue to have a productive conversation so I'll just say that we'll see how things turn out. I remember people calling me a "hater" when I said that Mark Sanchez was a bad QB...that seems to be the first thing people always say when I go against a group foolishly supporting bad players.

Scored 12 points in the 4th, 10 straight points.

16 points on only 9 shots (6-9), awesome. Played good D on Cousins multiple possessions. Hit his free throws, got a respectable 5 boards (would have had more if Howard wasnt gobling them all up lol) All in only 26 minutes.

We should seriously change this thread into why is Brewer so bad, I cringe every time I see his face. 3 dumb fouls in a row in the 4th, shot 33/25/50 on his 6 shots and threw in 2 turnovers to go with bad D yet again. He needs to be glued to bench, give Lawson, Thornton, Terry and Beverley more minutes with small ball 1&2 lineups with Harden/Ariza at the 3.

Bobby has an agenda against jones and he should be called out. However as one shouldnt be made a scapegoat and only his errors being highlighted while his good games dismissed ,same way jones hasnt proved he has turned any corner and developed more until he can play well for more games.

He's playing very well lately. We have four bigs who deserve minutes, which -- in my eyes -- is a very good problem to have.

im telling you, by january when dmo is 100%, jones for an elite 3d wing is not far fetched. this team is too deep, need to make some trades.

Hopefully DMo improves quickly so he can start, and have Capela/Jones off the bench.

That seems more balanced than the twin tower lineup.

So weird that he strung 3 solid games together early in the season like D-Mo came to last year. It's almost as if with the same amount of NBA minutes bigs come into their own like clockwork. Weird. #Lescomplainyall

I'm sure this is the goal -- and I think Capela will probably take the biggest hit unless/until TJ is moved. One thing you can say about JB is that he makes use of the roster. He has his work cut out for him when it comes to whittling down the rotation (if that's what he wants to do).

Jones had a full season of playing like the last 3 games in his 2nd year.
Last year his numbers jumped again until injuries. He never came back well from that rib injury, looked done...

Hopefully last 3 games are resumption of normal service from him. To be honest, he should probably start next game, and if he keeps going like these last 3 games, start all year long. There are things he can improve on still. And if he gets back to his normal finishing skill (70% in close on his career is elite level), we have good news.

I would love to map his stats and see what he averages when DMo is available to play vs when DMo is unavailable . My guess is that his numbers are way better when DMo is around - maybe TJo pines for DMo when he is unavailable?

I'm glad he's playing better, but he's still playing terrible defense overall. A few good flashes against Cousins doesn't change that. The PF position is still one of the 2 biggest issues with our defense right now, Harden being the other.

It kind of pisses me off that his good play just happens to coincide with D-mo's return being announced.

I remember you saying that Jones was the next little Dwight or something

but yeah.... they are not mediocre IMHO

both Jones and Mo are still young and most definitely will be above average when they hit their prime

DMo's post game is better but in this league you ask Steph Curry all you probably need is a face up game (Jones could develop into a big SF if he can get his shooting going)
