U can't replace Dwight Howard. Remember Kobe Bryant didn't win championships without Gasol, Bynum and Shaq. Spurs don't win championships without Duncan. The only exception is Curry and Jordan, both are not guardable and out of this world. Let's go Flash
Well, apparently you can't decipher what you read. I never said Lawson/Rondo was better.... I said Harden WASN'T better, which CAN mean the totality of the players' skills can be EQUAL. Then there's defense. Read my words carefully or don't respond to my words, Simpleton .
harden's passing and court vision is really execptional for the 2-guard. he can totally play the point guard if he was not so turnover prone, but i think he could be the best passing shooting guard ever
disagree, when he had played he looked slow, he is lost without his speed he is just getting in to a groove and anyway who cares, we won, it is a team effort and i'm sure Ty is happy because they won
Fingers crossed this team stays healthy cuz if they can and get the chemistry right they could be very dangerous....still got a LOT of work ahead but this sure beats the heck outta the Rockets November games filled with debauchery
you have to remember, his turnover numbers are to be expected when he handles the ball that much, just look at Westbrook's turnover numbers
That was my point. I was replying to a poster who keeps mentioning Lawson's +/- and his lack of minutes
HOU still sucks since firing mchale, barely beat DAL last nite, played zero D against SAC tonite b/c they gave up 113pts, dwight and harden play no D
Should've been a much bigger win, but the Rockets got lazy and careless late in the first half. Still, it was a good solid close to the 4th quarter. This was the 2nd straight night where the last 12 minutes saw a crazy number of lead changes and ties and the Rockets never lost their composure. Once they get the chemistry going and are more consistent on defense(that includes grabbing the board, guys!), they could finally become the team we thought they were gonna be heading into the season.

Decent win, can't complain too much since it's better than losing. Defense is pure ass, I was thinking we were turning a corner but we are just terrible there. At least now it seems like we are giving more effort, but we just have defensive breakdowns too often. We were lucky we were on fire from 3 tonight. Howard had a good game, thought he had some great possessions defensively on Cousins. He just can't finish the same way he used to, but his improved free throw shooting from last year makes up for that a bit. I would have liked to see DMo play more in the 2nd half, he was rusty but wasn't hurting us out there, I want him to play as much as possible so he can get back into it quickly. Lawson needs to play more too, if we play him 10-15 min a game then fine, maybe we will get back to close to where we were last year but that is not enough. He needs to be on the floor a lot and doing what he does best for us to go anywhere this season. Brewer looking as bad as ever, I still have no idea why he is ahead of Thornton in the rotation. Hopefully we continue to get better.
good point. It wasn't that long ago they would've not lost a game like this but would've gotten blown out
They just salty because they know we are rounding back to form. And that losing McHale may be the best t Hong that happens to our offense.
