I suspect the same. My point in all this is to understand whether they were "inspired" aka copycats or actually involved with ISIS. It makes a huge difference IMO.

No. I think at least the brother in law who spoke to reporters (Farhad Khan) is NOT related to the female suspect. Mr. Khan is instead married to a sister of the male suspect.
Not sure if this is sarcasm. There is a news article stating the NSA was aware of them, they had communicated with several people being investigated for terrorism. The NSA given free reign to monitor everything only makes their job harder, impossible to go through everyone's phone records and internet history. It's like searching for a needle in the ocean. Police knew about this guy as well, he was on the radar for other issues in the last week.
A scenario involving direct ISIS actions on US soil is infinitely more concerning, no? The other angle being that this is a young Pakistani-American rather than some recent Arab immigrant or refugee.
I read the article as meaning the NSA was aware of the people they contacted vs were aware of the perps contacting them, until they confiscated their computers, phones and flash drives. Maybe I read it wrong.
Now it's being reported that the coupled deleted their digital footprint the day before the attack. Any idiot who still wants to hold onto the moronic notion that this was just workplace violence needs to have their brain removed because its obviously not being used. All that mental gymnastics for what, so they can Pat themselves on the back for not being racist or islamaphobic? That's great, this attack could have been stopped had the neighbor reported what they sae, but no they didn't report the strange things going in and out of Farook's house because they are afraid of being called a racist. **** you PC crowd. **** you stupid ****ing naieve little b****es who wanted so desperately for this to be non Muslims. **** you ******* politicians who started ****ing pissing and moaning about ****ing gun control before the bodies were even cold. How much ****ing gun control coulda stopped 9/11? How much ****ing gun control stopped the France attacks? Muslims are regular people and have centuries of living side by side with other cultures. They dont need ****ing mouth breathers to defend their honor. They dont need white knights shouting down anyone who disagrees. Why the **** do we have to do ****ing hurdles when an extremist does something ****ed up in the name of Allah? It's ****ing pathetic to watch the ****ing hippies worry first about the backlash instead of the dead bodies on the ground. Seriously **** ya'll if you think this was anything other than an attack. So mother****ing stupid and dangerously naieve
I think the guy being US born is far more concerning . If it were some type of foreign infiltrator then we could always learn from the mistakes and tighten up at the border ,issuing visa's, or whatever allowed them to slip through undetected. Young Americans becoming twisted by a certain ideology could become like a cancer that's very hard to detect
