It seems he's making a joke about getting DMO back in the lineup for nothing...

How could he not make a difference?

He clearly showed last season that he had incorporated/emulated Hakeem's post moves better than anyone else on the team so far.

The hurdle, as mentioned by others, and similar to the Rockets propensity for turnovers, is getting the ball to a post player properly and at the right time. I expect Lawson to be the best at it after playing with D-Mo for a few games; maybe even less time. Lawson's height is the biggest limitation.

People will grow impatient and become disappointed if and when Dmo struggles early on coming off of rehabilitation.

Pretty much. Love DMo but it's going to take some time.

I hope DMo finally gets to be one of the focal points on offense. With his skillset, he could definitely be a 18-20ppg player. The only question is whether the coaches will allow it.

jbb will certainly allow it - if harden allows it.

Oh the memories... I am having nightmares about Beverley and Ariza ignoring DMo in the post when he has a position, or throwing out of bounds pass. Or passing only when DMo comes to 3 point line and takes the ball himself. But there's an enormous difference when you get the ball in the post and when you have to back your man down from 3 point line.

K-Pap was a great entry passer when he was with the Rockets.

When did Drummond had such a serious back surgery?
Unless he perhaps had a laser procedure to remove the jungle he calls his back hair in the last 1 week I have no knowledge of him having any kind of back surgery?

DMo looks lean. Will be good for his back not to carry around fat but lean muscle.
