Like I said, the facts here don't really fit prior acts of either work place shooting or political/religious terrorism. Workplace shooters usually involve one shooter and isn't this elaborately prepared. Political/religious terrorism usually attack strangers rather than one's work colleagues and acquaintances.
I've been away from any news. Quick recap anyone? What exactly happened? How many were killed? Why? Who did the killing and are they still out there or dead themselves? Thanks.
Maybe newbies to a cause act differently. I could see an American turned terrorist who goes to Saudi Arabia to be married and bring the accomplice back with him having an ego that he can do it himself with no need for direction from a terrorist cell. So, he prepares as usual, but targets a known place, a building he used to work at.
Well, they obviously didn't care much for their baby as parents. Screw em. I would guess they were ISIS inspired but it feels more like he had personal grievances against the people he worked with for five years...ones he only shared with his wife.
Yeah, but to plan something like this for work grievances? extreme is an understatement. Weird situation really.
CNN is reporting that Syed Farook was radicalized Muslim, and that authorities knew who he was because he had been in touch with international terrorists prior to yesterday. can we close the book on this idiotic search for a reason to not blame it on his religion?
smh <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Farook was in touch with more than one terrorism subject whom the FBI were already investigating, law enforcement sources tell CNN</p>— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) <a href="https://twitter.com/jaketapper/status/672471461358080001">December 3, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
If he was radicalized to the point of doing this attack, then one could assume he chose his own workplace as a matter of it being an easy target given he has the access and knows the security (or lack of) that is in place. I guess it wouldn't matter whether he knew the victims or not because he's just a stupid douche bag at that point. It still strikes me as odd he would go after people he worked with for five years unless he held something against them. I guess he held them being non-believers against them? And, it seems awfully coincidental that his bro-in-law was in the same conference room yet was on a bathroom break. Wow...what great timing!
Maybe making a Muslim go to a Christmas party was not the best idea? Spoiler We'll can speculate random BS.
I don't see how that's an effective counterargument to his statement. It's like saying "oh this winter is freezing ass cold" and then you reply "don't you think the summer is really hot too?". A simple " yeah it is ass cold" would suffice in the flow of that conversation.
