True it's hard but even self-radicalized individuals like the Tsarnaev brothers who had no direct links to larger groups still picked an iconic target. Especially in a place like SoCAL. As I stated earlier there are so many more iconic and equally soft targets within a few hours of San Bernadino.

Who knows, but now the SB police are saying they didn't release her name doesn't seem to be relevant at this time. (Sigh.)

America, where stochastic up-to-the-minute "news" will keep you on the edge of your keyboard. I'll just check back in 24 hours to see if they figured anything out at all.

My guess is Islamic terrorism. There are very few gun crimes committed by women. I suppose it's possible she was just the driver and didn't know what was going on.

The guns were bought legally here, correct? Does anyone remember what guns were used in Columbine?

This is all very weird. If this guy is doing it as an act of religious violence (revenge for bombing ISIS and such) and has no beef with anyone at work, why shoot up his work place's holiday party instead of some target with actual political significance or at least a location with more international notoriety?

On the other hand, if this guy got problem with people at work, how did he get 2 other people involved to help him shoot up his work place? With body armor and all that, it seems like a big to-do that was planned for some time. And his co-workers-- those that survived to be interviewed at least-- have not referred to some big drama involving him.

Perhaps the guy is radicalized, but there's still something that made him organize a shooting of his co-workers instead of other targets.

Don't a lot of people believe we should never release the names and let them rot in anonymity.

In all fairness to the esteemed hotballa, the first police sketch of this women looks like Gollum from LOTR.

Looks like the chick was one of the shooters. Tashfeen Malik. Only two shooters, no other suspects. Bombs left at the scene of shooting.

I may be wrong, but those are Pakistani names.

ISIS is more associated with Arabs

Sounded like workplace violence to me from the beginning. It doesn't sound like organized "terrorism". It's all too specific to be "terrorism".
