Idk, I mean... We are tied with the third worst team in the east, and that team shouldn't even peak for 3-5 more years.. We are pretty screwed. I would like to be wrong, but this looks rather bleak.

Nobody has ever been afraid to play us in these recent years. They see the inconsistency game-to-game and the lack of any sort of tactics, and they all say, "No matter how bad our record or how good theirs is, we have a chance against the Rockets." And they're right. It was the same way last year; we just enjoyed a non-repeatable fluke set of circumstance that took us as far as we did. Nobody lies down against a team that loses leads or only shows up for 1/4 to 1/2 the game as often as we do.

Well we're one game out of the eighth seed and three games out of the sixth seed. There's a good chance we make the playoffs. I think we want to avoid GSW as long as possible in the playoffs. Shoot for the 6th seed, play OKC in the first round and SAS in the second. The other option is shoot for the 4th or 5th seed, hopefully have an easier first round, and then play GSW in the second round.
I know, HP...Dark days indeed at the moment....But, we shall see how it all works out in the wash. Peace
Wish I shared your optimism. Watching this year's team play makes me really wonder if last year was a fluke. We've only won 3 of our last 11 games....and 2 of those wins were in OT and 1 was a 2-point win against the worst team in NBA history...
