Can't wait. If the Rockets want to make the playoffs, they must increase their win percentage right now.

    Garbage in - Garbage out

Trying to move players that do not care but are more physically talented for players that are less physically talented but do care.

Maybe we can just sign Jim Jackson and Bob Sura.

On the positive side, Bogdanovic and Jack should run the plays that are called.

Bogdanovic could be like the 2013 Marcus Morris that we traded away, but much worse. Hooray.

I watch the Pelicans a lot, and I do not want Anderson. He is one of the worst defensive players I've ever seen. Teams go right at him constantly and it's almost like nobody is there. Just gives up easy bucket after easy bucket.

Last year he was only shooting 34% from 3, so it was really bad. This year he's shooting better, so maybe he can make up for his lack of defense.

    Hey now!

On the bright side Bogdan does solve the Rockets rebounding problems.

Plus a front line of Cap/DMo/Bogdan can be called "The United Colors of Benetton"..........

He's only in his second year and is probably hitting a sophmore slump.

I do agree with the defensive liability portion of his game. He can't defend worth s**t, but he'll most likely be playing backup minutes and so will Jack.

Regardless we need to sell now on Ty while he's got a teeny tiny bit of worth left... so small.

LoL, I didn't even notice I wrote that. **** no, I want no part of Rodmonavic, didn't he fake an injury once? LoL. Bogdanovich is a good shooter even though he's undersized he'd fit the small lineup 4 when Dmo would play the 5

That's even more damning. Everybody's a physically-impressive specimen in the NBA, so the thing that makes players great, average, or mediocre is the mental aspect. Capela has all the physical talent of Jones, the mental acuity to understand where his weaknesses are, and the will to actually take steps to improve upon them. That's the kind of guy you want to keep. I'm tired of Jones. Let somebody else deal with him.

    LETS ROLL!

DMO (will leave as a free agent)/Bogdan/Harden

Now THAT is a 3-4-5 you can really sink your teeth into!

I think Radmanovic was better than Bogdanovic. Better shooter, better rebounder, better passer, probably equally bad defender.

Anyway he's only 35 so Morey should give him a call. Radmanovic's problem is he was born 10 years too early.

    Just a few comments here:

    1. Jack/Bogdanovic is not enough salary to acquire Lawson. They're still a couple hundred thousand short. Will need to add another player. So, they'll have to throw in a third player.

That makes the deal a 3 for 1 deal. Brooklyn has 15 players. We've got 14. So we've got to send them someone else or cut someone outright to make this deal work. Brooklyn does have a $3.3 million TPE that expires on 12/11/2015 from the Kirilenko trade. So they could take back another player (or two) to make a deal work. But the deal has to be done by 12/11/2015 for the Kirilenko TPE to be used.

Brooklyn also has $1.357 million and $2.170 million TPE's that expire after the season that they could use to facilitate a deal like this after 12/11/2015.

So, if this deal were to actually go down using the Kirilenko TPE on or before 12/11/2015, it would be Jack, Bogdanovic, and Markel Brown (since the only other players that would work in this deal cannot be traded until on or after 12/15/2015) for Lawson and at least one other player (most likely Terrence, but possibly KJ (hope not).

If this deal were to go down on or after 12/15 then there are several other players (Bargnani, Sloan, TRob) that would work in place of Markel Brown. BUT....Brooklyn loses that Kirilenko TPE which means they can only take back one of these players instead of Terrence: Harrell, Thornton (with Thornton's approval), JET (with Jet's approval), Capela, Dekker, DMo.

Conclusion: It's safe to say that if this deal involving Jack and Bogdanovic for Lawson goes down, it will be on or before 12/11/2015 and will also involve Terrence and Markel Brown. If it hasn't gone down by 12/11/2015 then it isn't going to go down although a different expanded trade could very well go down with Brooklyn.

    2. This type of trade would likely take us out of the luxury tax (something I expect to happen before the season is over) and put Brooklyn smack in the luxury tax. If there's a team out there that would be willing to go into the luxury tax AGAIN, it's the Nets.

    3. There is tremendous synergy between us and the Nets. Firstly, Boston owns Brooklyn's pick unprotected. So Brooklyn has no reasons to tank and every reason to get up off the deck and compete for the playoffs. As do we since Les isn't into losing for Simmons or anybody else.

So, expect to hear a lot of rumors coming out over the next week or so involving Brooklyn. Don't be surprised if you hear a wild rumor about Joe Johnson even. And most of those rumors Morey will blab out himself. Because here's the kicker. Morey could possibly generate a better deal with the Celtics for a better player than Jack/Bogdanovic. If he can convince Ainge that he's got a deal done with the Nets that is going to make the Nets significantly better (Nets are currently 5 games out of the playoff chase and it's early), then he might get Ainge to pull the trigger on a deal for a better player(s) than Jack/Bogdanovic.

Only way DMo leaves this summer is if Rockets let him leave. He's a restricted free agent, not a free agent. Just like Parsons was and Rockets let him go. But somehow fans don't blame Morey for it.
