But i'd feel more comfortable with these two shooting threes than Lawson and Jones. Neither TJ or Ty look like they have good control over their shots on a consistent basis.

First, Ty is way better than Jack. Secondly, it wouldn't change anything if the coaches continue to run Harden iso.

 

Shooting about 37% from 3 so far this season

 

Does this mean we're not gonna trade for Boogie Cousins?

I don't know how much this moves the meter at all, but those of you saying we never gave Lawson a chance, well, I don't know how much of a chance he gave us, either. But whatever happened to him isn't getting fixed on this team.

Yeah, Brooklyn is even worse so far at shooting the three than the Schmuckets, but Bogdanovic is also mired in a slump. He usually shoots better.

So far we aren't the team that would inspire anyone to arrive and suddenly improve, but Lawson is (quoting "Master and Commander") "acting as a sea anchor, we've got to cut [him] loose!"

 

Where does Bogdanovic fit in? They already got James and Thorton at 2 ;o

 

Since TJones is being tossed in the trade too, does that mean the Rockets are confident that DMo is game ready now?

 

Ty at his best is way better than Jack...but Ty hasn't been anywhere near as good this season as Jack has been. I'm not sure Ty is gonna be Ty again anytime soon.

 

Harden decides he wants to iso. Creators never follow, even their coaches.

 

He's a forward. More competent than Brewer and definitely shoots better.

 

Ty has underperformed because he's put in a position to succeed. Jack would suck too if he's not given the green light to create.

 

Probably also means they don't see much of a drop off from Jones to Harrell, ugh, I'm so sick of TJ.

 

He's a guard, and is shooting 25% from 3. Terrible defender also.

 

Small forward is where he'd fit in here. It would allow him to guard slower players and cut into Brewer's minutes.

He's a better shooter than that. Form doesn't lie.

 

But can run recklessly towards the rim?

 

I won't pretend to know for sure...but I THINK there's more going on there than just that.

 

This, i would actually take Thorton over him right now with ease.

 

Is Lawson a locker room problem? It seems early to give up on the guy based on his (I know - horrible) play alone.
