Alright, I know a little something about the taste of ye ole blackbird ...3 times a day ad infinitum. That said, I'm of the opinion that many here who haven't fed on that carrion, are about to partake. What I'm getting at is this Rockets season. Sure, it's been brutal early on, but....I'm positive that IF we stay healthy...whatever team is out there at the end of the year will be peaking ...and no one will want to play us. James will be in shape. DMo alongside Dwight... Ty will be integrated ...or possibly dealt....# pursuit. And we will have the right coach. So, chill...DMo's back...This in itself will have a massive impact. DM will have us positioned....just gotta stay healthy.
I like boys!!! #persewt!!!! Dmo gonna come out the gate hottttttt on them boiiiiizzz! Taking charges and draining threes and posting up on boy zzz!!!! Yeeeee
With the current team as is, except healthy, and assuming no trades... no way in hell anyone would be afraid to play us at the end of the year.
If we don't break into the Top 6 seeds, I doubt GSW or SAS will be scared of us. As positive as I'd like to be, we've already put ourselves in a big hole, and we are still playing like crap... Do you realize we have the most home losses in the entire freaking NBA. The entire league. That is really bad. Mathematically bad.
Yea Baby!!! Plowman just invited everyone over his house for supper!!! Crow, cooked right, is a delicacy!!! ....... ....... .......
Yeah, I'm sorry, but barring a coaching change (which management made clear wasn't going to happen), I just don't see what the cure-all is going to be for a team that just refuses to play hard and doesn't seem to know how to play smart. I was on the optimism bandwagon for a good long time, but I'm really at my wits end with this group.
All comes down to if James is gonna focus and be a leader... or if he'd rather play Kardassian or whatever other distraction keeps him from being devoted to the success of the team... fool me once... I'd love to be eating crow at the end of the year... but I dont see it happening...
Love the optimistic approach Plow but man its very hard to believe they will turn this thing around. A lot of people on here truly believes Dmo will magically fix the many issues going on with this team. I highly doubt but hey they might be right and I hope so brother. Now this season could be saved if our two highest players would start being the leaders they claimed to be. Ty Lawson start playing like the true point guard he was in Denver. Jones start playing like a player playing for a contract, this the last year of his contract. And Brewer stop playing clumsy and lost out there and give us the energy he gave us last season.
I don't see the playoffs this year. Mathematically we're not doomed. We're just not good enough. We've played so many more home games than road games, and have been getting blown out so many times and lost to some bad teams. No way Dmo returns to regular form fast enough, and we turn it around that quickly, without another set back or injury.
If you think that scrub Motiejūnas is going to turn around our season you are crazy. He's the worst player in NBA just a year ago, remember? According to a thread in here. Just like this one.
DMo's return is great, but there needs an attitude adjustment among these guys. Some of them are playing like they know they're trade bait. Like a sucka, I'll keep watching and hoping.
Totally agree..... There has to big attitude adjustment with everyone from the front office on down.. The offense has to change.. No if's and's or butt's... The so called superstar has to change... His attitude on the game has to change... T_Man
I'm blown away by the number of folks around here who are being negative and pessimistic. Now, I'm not saying anything else just yet, as I want to get the thread going. But, you can bet I'll have plenty of input later.
