Rumor: Houston seeing if there is trade market for Ty Lawson

Expiring contracts aren't as valuable with the new cba this offseason either way

 

I see him more as salary filler in a bigger trade than just unloading him for a marginal player.

 

No need to wonder at that point. The numbers are clear. It is Harden.

No ball dominant PGs will work well with Harden. Feels like we should focus on other positions (PF? Shooters?) and perhaps upgrade to a better 3D guy over Bev.

and in this case the pg doesn't fit because the sg next to him wants to act like he's a PG who has been a dribbling machine, while also being lackluster on defense (probably the worst ever looking so far in his career), and averaging a career high in shots and TO's. All while playing 40 mins a game. After asking for another playmaker in the offseason you would think this guy would adjust to make things easier for him and the team. But instead its the total opposite. No wonder TL isn't a good fit. He can't play his natural position PG.

 

When are we going to start the stigma of Harden being a "PG killer" like how Howard is a "coach killer"?

Yes, Lawson's poor shooting, bad shot selection, getting blocked by taller players, zero defense, and passiveness is all Harden's fault.

 

It's not about wanting.

Obviously they wanted to make it work since they're friends but the issue is they can't because their games do not mesh. If both players need the ball in their hands and have defensive deficiencies it's going to create some real issues on both sides of the ball.

We can get at the least some 2nd round draft pick value for Lawson at this point... have we taken all of Philly's 2nd rounders yet?

 

This team is falling apart. Ty needs a lot more time with the starters. Benching him for Terry was a big mistake. They've just given to Harden Iso being our only offense. **** that!

 

Give Karl what he wants. Lawson for Rondo.

I don´t see a big market for Lawson, right now I would rahter keep it. It`s not like there is someone else out there that can help us. And being at this point I seriously doubt their will to rebuild.
