last game and this game, and the team cant step up to help him or themselves
no offensive system + your best player struggling = terrible team

wonder if they know they dont have an offensive system

If he's gonna quit on the defensive end then don't play.

I give him a SLIGHT pass. He sucks though.. his flu games are the absolute worst!

Stepping up to help Harden when he is sick is ignoring him and running plays without him.The rockets got back into the game despite his bull****. I get you're sick but put in the effort. We saw he can play hard in the 4th. why not do it to start?

Guess what, I'm sick. And guess what, I still went to work and did my job well.

And guess what, I don't make millions.

If you can dribble all day, then surely you can box out. That vine floating around is inexcusable..he's thinking about the next possession before the current one even ends. Seems to be a reoccurring thing..

Not that big of a deal in what context? Under normal circumstances, an NBA player should be able to rehydrate orally after a game. An IV in itself isn't substantial but it's necessity indicates that a medical professional believed Harden to be suffering from extraordinary dehydration.

    Sepsis? Give me a break

For an athlete, any dehydration means loss of that quick 1st step, the spring in the jump, strength to snatch rebounds from an opponent, etc. If fluids during the game aren't doing the trick, that means the athlete isn't performing at his peak during the game.

Last year, my wife was moping around for a couple of days, complaining about being tired. One morning, she stumbled out of the bedroom & sat down on the couch. When she literally couldn't get off the couch to eat breakfast, I drove her to the ER where they told me that she was 12 hours away from death. A week on IVs in the hospital & 2 weeks in rehab and she was good to go.

Yes that's an extreme example of what dehydration does to the body. But for me, I have lost the "Dehydrated? Drink some water & get back to it!" attitude.
