Maybe the Rox mngmt realizing the Warriors have mastered Morey Ball and they gotta find another way to win instead bricking 3's playing fast with nothing positive to show for it

JB froze out Harden too. JB went with a Thornton/Dwight PnR over and over instead of going to Harden.

Harden was just so bad it was MADDENING! It looked so bad, I thought Harden had money on the game..

Some truly TRULY insufferable basketball! Couldn't believe what I was seeing.

****ing League Pass cut out right after the Howard dunk and was terrible for me all night.

Harden, c'mon man, that play where he just stood there as they made a layup was infuriating. Seemed like he went Kobe-chuck mode tonight, just looked really bad.

Howard still got some springs if he gets his steps right, the only thing offensively he is still good at is pick and roll, but of course we barely ever run it.

    Lawson DNP smh.

    Capela, Thornton, Beverley played well.

    Big shot from Ariza.

Defense still sucks but at least we kept turnovers down.

Ha, when do we adjust our definition of "played horribly?" Sure, compared to last season we have, but we aren't a good team this year, so for this group, they played okay. lol

This is not the game you want people pointing to saying Analytics is not the answer.

This was a truly awful game.

Afflalo was on fire , and harden was playing decent defense on him . Harden looked strong when he attacked the basket but it was clear his shot was off . Yes he should have attacked more , but hey it's a bad game from him . He will bounce back he has his entire tenure here .

I'm more encouraged by performances from Clint and pat . Thorton , Ariza , and even TJ played well at times . Tonight was our first win that the role players played a significant part . Dwight missed some bunnies but overall looked ok . It's clear he's not 100% yet , but he played smarter tonight which is a huge win .

The Knicks shot the ball really well , and most of that was out of our control . We contested a lot of shots and freaking seraphin was nailing 20 footers . The effort and destroying the Knicks on the turnover battle was the key .

I look forward to tomorrow night and hope that harden can bounce back and be efficient if given less time and that one of KJ and Brewer can pick up their games and give us another spark off the bench .

The way you win games in the NBA ( unless your superstar has a monster game ) is to have more players than the other team does playing well , giving effort , moving the ball etc.... If we can get Pat going , thorton going , Clint getting consistent , then that solves a lot of our issues . Then you add Dmo coming back and hopefully TY getting his **** together , that's when your team starts clicking and winning lots of games .

we didn't play that bad in the context of this season. people need to stop comparing this team to the last year's Rockets. that team's long gone and ain't coming back.

I think Harden was settling because of their two 7 footers. Remember he kept getting blocked in our last game against the Knicks. At least he didn't turn the ball over.

Hope he doesn't do that tomorrow against Drummond.

Harden should work on his free throws.

Yep your right and The true litmus test in my opinion will be when this team is fully healthy at full strength along with Lawson hopefully producing by that time as well.

His new routine is more awkward and inconsistent than it used to be. Not sure why he switched.

I know the rockets defense has been terrible this year but does it also seem like the opponents are constantly on fire?? I mean I know bad defense will produce high field goal percentages for the other team but even when they are being covered they are nailing jumper after jumper. Tonight Affalo played like a superstar. Then you had Sarafin nailing jumpers left and right. The night before it was Caanan and Covington going off. Every frickin game the opponent is on friggin fire. What the hell is the a deal. Did the NBA just get together over the summer and say we are all going to have a game plan to take out the Rockets?? I've never seen this, there hasn't been one bad game played by any of our opponents. Again, I know the defense has been **** but still, when you play the low level of competition that we have been playing, there is still 1 game in there where even though your defense is lacking, the other team is just shooting poorly and missing. There hasn't been one bad shooting night by an opponent all year.

It is not a definite that they will make the playoff's. However, it was a hard fought win, in that hostile environment, for our Rockets boys.

Awww what an awesome day, both of my teams won today. First the Texans dominated the Saints and now the Rockets winning in New York.

    Love it mayne!

That Kevin paraffin dude hit mid range j after mid range J and also had a fake dream shake or two resulting in buckets

Afflalo torched a Harden all night long and was shooting turnaround jumpers like Kobe in his prime
