That UGA Insider tweet has been debunked. But there's a whole damn lot of smoke around Herman for there not to be fire. The BOR has stepped up with the money, I just know that P5 can't come fast enough. Ugh.
Wishful thinking: firing Richt doesn't reflect that great on their administration. Especially with Hermans mentor Saban making comments critical of the firing. Rational counter argument: a good job offer is a good job offer I think Herman has the luxury of knowing that he'll have many other attractive opportunities. I would think the situation that would make him go 1 and done would have to be pretty close to ideal.
The fact that people still believe this insider junk still is lulzy. Reputable sources like McMurphy and Forde or GTFO
I think it's the notion that he'll eventually leave. When not if... So naturally, any rumor will be believable.
I'm standing by my theory that Herman will stay at UH. I will either turn out a genius or a bigger fool than infamous UT insider Jesus Shuttleworth.
Im a sore loser, so if Herman leaves im going to be pissed again. Hate going through this process every time. It will put more pressure on our AD Hunter to make another big splash too. I can see our fan base getting pissed as well. I hope Herman stays.
I agree. IMO the biggest thing our athletics programs need is continuity. We need class after class after class to have a relationship with the program, so we not only have a strong student fan base, but a way stronger alumni fan base. Good news this morning about USC taking the "interim" tag off Clay Helton, and UGA rumors pointing to Kirby Smart. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I think they're playing this brilliantly. Tom Herman's name is getting thrown around by all the top schools. Media mentions. Recruits hearing his name over and over. Meanwhile, Tillman is countering every offer he gets: SC offering 3.5? Done. Georgia offering 4? Done. Meanwhile, H-Town Takeover is repeated over and over. Why hasn't CTH come out and put our minds at ease with a confirmation? No reason to. Let the speculation run rampant, let them covet our coach. Give us free publicity. "Hello, (insert recruit name), this is Tom Herman, you might have heard of me. Come join the Takeover.)" Signing day will come and we'll have Ed Oliver and several more 4 star recruits coming in. Tom Herman has talked so much about how this team performs because they love each other. I love that this news is coming out the week of the championship game. What a way to show that the love is reciprocated. Hope this has the opposite effect from the Sumlin BS.
