Actually I'm just excited that Mr. Dear's 2nd amendment rights were never infringed. That seemed to have worked out well for everyone. I guess it only takes 150 good guys with guns to stop 1 bad guy with a gun. Maybe the NRA should update its slogan.

Planned Parenthood Shooting Suspect Made Comment About 'No More Baby Parts': Sources
    http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...spect-made-comment-about-no-more-baby-n470706

In one statement, made after the suspect was taken in for questioning, Dear said "no more baby parts" in reference to Planned Parenthood, according to two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case.

But the sources stressed that Dear said many things to law enforcement and the extent to which the "baby parts" remark played into any decision to target the Planned Parenthood office was not yet clear. He also mentioned President Barack Obama in statements.

As I said before, it was either him or the Jews who would be blamed.

It can't be too long before someone pops up accusing Obama of being a secret Jew.

It's already happened in Arab media, especially after every annual White House Passover seder.

It's quite a salient point, seeing as how LilliputianTex has used tragedy in this way before.

I think the point here is that Comet and Tex are two sides of the same coin.

I think you're the only person here who's ever exhibited excitement at death, kiddo.

I'm merely giving bigotexxx the opportunity to claim the GOP has blood on its hands after the similar claims he's already made when others have been killed by lunatics. Equal time and all.

One of the victims who died was a pastor who stood against abortions. He was one of the cops who tried to defend the establishment. Just saying. It doesnt matter though, does it?

Of course it matter. People should be outrage at any form of terrorism and sadden by any death from it.

Leaders, especially, have a responsibility to speak out against violence and hatred. Those in leadership position who chooses to be silent on this are the one that said it's doesn't matter. Except for Cruz (some 20 hrs later but still), why are all the other Republican presidential candidate silent on this? Because Planned Parenthood.

I'm honestly surprised how the Republican candidates have reacted to this.

Not even a single word on a mass shooting. Mind-boggling.

Domestic terrorism and daily gun violence are just part of our American lives. The president has said this can't 'become normal' but that's just wrong. It has already become normal. As long as muslims aren't doing the shooting in the US, we seem to be okay with it.

Sad, but that's what people are willing to tolerate (at least until one of their own family members gets shot to death).

    EDIT: To underline my point...
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2015/11/30/there-have-been-334-days-and-351-mass-shootings-so-far-this-year/?postshare=1761448894823984&tid=ss_tw

We have had more than one mass shooting per day, on average, in 2015. How on Earth can we expect politicians to comment on each one? They should each address the crisis in general, but I hold no stock in what a politician says each day. What a grotesque situation.

Guy apparently had "Obama-itis," kind of like some people we know.

    Via: ABC news

"Police and federal agents Saturday used a bomb robot to search the mobile home and storage shed on the property in Hartsel, Colorado, where Dear lived. Hartsel is about 65 miles west of Colorado Springs.

Zigmund Post, one of Dear's neighbors, told ABC News that the last time he saw the man was Wednesday, outside the post office.

Dear made an impression on Post the first time they met, he said, because he immediately gave him anti-Obama pamphlets.

"That was kind of weird that within three minutes of meeting somebody, they're already wanting to give you that kind of stuff," Post said.

"You could tell he wasn't that friendly of a guy," Gary Murr, another Hartsel resident, told ABC News. "He sure didn't smile or nothing. He would just answer a question and that's it."
