The FO already said they would give JB a fair chance. That's what they're waiting for.

That's the beauty of the triangle it doesn't have to be a big on the wing post. Michael and Kobe both did well in that role. Harden would as well. Our issue is like you said we don't have the time to implement a new offense on the fly. A simple change that would work wonders would be to take the best shot available. Too many times we get in the paint for a easy 10-15ft J and we kick it out for a three that turns into a TO. Just take the shot that's there

IMO, the longer Morey waits to hire Thibs the closer he is to getting canned.
    Make haste Darryl!

I have no issues with Morey waiting. He can extend Bickerstaff.

IMHO the triangle only works well when a team has a big wing who can 'get his own rubbish shot' with not much time left on the shot clock. It seems to break down quite often, and someone needs to create a bail out jumper.
Jordan + Kobe were kind of good at that - I think Harden fits the bill quite nicely.

But honestly, not a massive fan of the triangle unless PJax is coaching it... hasn't seemed to work in the NBA apart from that...

    Defence wins championships.

What's the name of the place? Someone just call and ask to leave a message for Thomas Joseph Thibodeau Jr. Can't hurt to try.

The interior designer is currently on the hot-seat after shutting down Thib's desire for a chandelier in the minimalist kitchen

Lots of mental r****dation going on around here. JB was put in charge of the defense last year, and the result was a better defense than Chicago, coached by Thibs. So there's a chance that JB has more in his bag of tricks than TT's one. For those saying JB isn't ready to be a HC - how is he less ready than Thibs was?

They don't run the triangle. They use it for some sets.

It's time to fire Bickerstaff as well as the whole coaching staff, and get a real coach.

Thibs had been an assistant longer than JB, and had won an NBA championship as the architect of the Boston Celtics defense -- that's how JB is less ready than Thibs was.

But sometimes a coach with less experience may still be a better coach. Experience counts for something, but not everything.

I don't have a problem with giving JB a shot. He's been an assistant for eleven years, and comes from a basketball coaching family. He's not exactly a beginner.
