Who's being hypocritical? You made a big deal about it when Obama made the comment about the special olympics, but you haven't condemned Trump in the slightest.

Comparing the 1 or 2 offensive things Obama has said with the 20-30 or more uttered from the Don is like saying Stephen Curry is no better than Seth Curry as a basketball player. You people really have to reach to find stuff that Obama has said that is offensive. It's like they have to dig several feet in the yard to find things on Obama when someone like George W. Bush has crap all over the lawn.

All you have to do is take a survey of all your overseas and foreign friends / acquaintances, who have an outside perspective, to see their opinion of The Don. The several I've talked to honestly think a segment of the American public has to be bat**** crazy to support this guy. He's such an egotistical, narcissistic, and vindictive moron that I'm thoroughly convinced it's an act. How can anyone be as much of a turd as him and lead in the polls for this long?

Overseas and foreign friends? What a stupid comment from you. Which ones? All your buddies from Russia? The Congo? New Zealand? You probably spoke with a couple Mexicans in Lubbock and formed your genius opinion.

Look at Donald Trump's success in life. He's clearly done quite well. Contrast that to Obama who had never created a single job in his life when he decided to run for President.

While I'm NOT a Trump supporter, I find it pathetic that all the left can do is try to call their political opponents bigots, morons and crazy.

I happen to have quite a number of people I know internationally, so as usual, you don't know of what you speak. And let's look at your other statement- because Obama wasn't a job creator before he took office, he wasn't successful? That's the criteria for success in your book? A lot of highly successful people had very little to do with job creation- including President Obama- of course, you won't say squat about the significant drop in unemployment since 2010. In that respect, Obama has been one of the top job-creating Presidents of all time

But we're used to weak intellectual arguments from the likes of you. Trump is an utter buffoon, and if he becomes the Republican nominee, you right-wing nincompoops get what you deserve.

    Trump is a racist

    Obama is a racist

Anyone who thinks differently about either, is stuck on their political agenda

Your 4-chan creeper buddies who moved to Thailand don't count, sorry.

Calling Trump an "utter buffoon" is laughable, considering the success he's had.

Contrast that to Hillary, who has failed at every stop in her career.

I have no Idea why I am actually responding.

In other countries there are also people on the right en the left side of the political spectrum. So there are people that agree with him and those who do not. Look at how Europe is handling the refugees. There are enough people in the Netherlands who might think Trump is not an idiot (for example people that vote for Wilders in the Netherlands), and there are a lot who think he is a idiot. Most of my friends (high educated Dutchmen) think he is an entertaining idiot.

That being said. It is clear trump is a narcissist, on top of that I do not think he does not mean a lot of that he says (altough I am starting to believe he actually means it unlike Wilders) . He just knows it resonates with a specific group of people. I do not think he really wants to be president.

I am enjoying the crazy people the republican party are putting forth. It is really entertaining. However I do hope the republican party gets its act together, you cannot have a 2 party system and have 1 so dysfunctional party as the GOP is at the moment.

Neither of them are a racist actually.

Trump is merely doing and saying what he needs to win. He cares about winner, he sees the world as winners and losers and himself as a winner. So all that matters to him as win at any cost, even if it means pandering to the 50% of Fox viewers who are in fact racist.

Oh Trump certainly is doing and saying what he thinks he needs to in order to win

But if you don't think he is racist, i'm not sure what to tell ya

And Obama is as clearly racist as anyone around. It's just a different use of the word racism, so many won't buy in

No, I mean that usually when you hear the word racist, it is someone that doesn't like Black people or Hispanics. But i'm pretty sure you knew that.

Almost everyone on this board is so set on their side, that they could never admit something is wrong with the side they are on.

And that's cool, believe what you want bro

Again, completely ignorant statement about me, but not surprising from someone who is so full of **** 24x7 that he is apt to have diarrhea-of-the-mouth frequently. Trump is vindictive. Trump is immature. Trump is hotheaded. Trump is... (fill in any one of about 15 different negative characteristics that apply to this turd). But Hillary Clinton? Sure, she's failed at every step of her career. According to uninformed people. Smart conservatives laugh at complete idiots like you- and there are plenty of smart conservatives. Unlike the Lilliputian Houstonian.

I don't really care if Obama said something offensive about someone r****ded or that Trump said something offensive about some idiot BLM protester that has been arrested numerous times.

I am more concerned about their respective policies and familiarity with the issues. People can call Obama a racist or disagree with his policies, but an argument that he isn't educated on the issues or intelligent isn't going to hold water.

Oh, there are plenty of reasonable conservatives, believe me. Just not many on this board, unfortunately. They're very immature in that they'll never give Obama or Bill Clinton even one iota of credit for anything at all they've ever done in their entire presidential tenure. That's when you know they're ridiculously biased and don't waste time taking what they say seriously.

Same for liberals who say the same about George W. Bush. Bush did a very good showing leadership for the country post-911. I respect him a great deal for stating that we were not at war with Islam, but with terrorists. The economy did fairly well under him up until the end of his term- and I believe we had a Dem majority in Congress, so you can't put all the blame on him.

There were also several positives about Ronald Reagan, and George HW Bush, etc. This notion that a President controls the country, is responsible for all bad events, and has no redeeming qualities is just immature and silly thinking at its core. If Donald Trump is elected President, am I going to support him? Of course. As the President of my country, I feel that is the right thing to do. Do I think he's a successful businessman? Sure- of course, inheritance played a HUGE role in this, but he was successful beyond this, so you'd have to say yes. Does he have all the characteristics I mentioned above? Yep.

There's just no logical reason to elect someone like Trump when you have candidates like Rubio or even.....Bush. Or I suppose Cruz... ugh. Or Kasich. I could live with any of them being elected- Trump? A bit hard to swallow.

Very telling that I insult Trump and you insult me? Aren't you always making such a big deal about liberals going right to the insults rather than attacking the message? Hypocritical, much? Of course you are. You're the embodiment of hypocrisy. Congrats.

Yea there are reasonable people on both sides, but not many on here at all

I think Bush would be a good President, but his name would never let him get elected right now. I think it will be Rubio in the end, and I think Rubio will destroy Clinton in the general election. Clinton's only chance at winning would have been to go up against Bush

Not sure if he would destroy her. But he definitely has a good chance against her. You never know- many thought it would be close between Romney and Obama, and look how that turned out. Many thought HW Bush was a lock in 1992- after all, he had the highest presidential ratings ever in 12/1991 following the Gulf War. And look what happens less than a year later (although Perot had something to do with it, for sure).

I think Clinton is a reasonable candidate- a lot of foreign policy experience, probably good on domestic issues although sometimes that's out of the President's control. And I think Rubio is reasonable as well. Same with Bush. Sure, I don't agree with some of their policies, and I definitely lean towards liberal ideology, but the lines cross. You can't say you hate socialism when you benefit from many aspects of socialism in the U.S., and you can't say you hate capitalism for the same reason. It's not black and white. It's much more nuanced and requires careful deliberation.

This is where I actually agree with the conservatives- these ridiculous "gotcha" debates where they did little in talking about the issues important to Americans. As much as I shudder at some of the things Ted Cruz says, I agreed with him completely that the questioning was absurd in the last debate.

I personally feel, overall, that there needs to be a much more reasoned discussion among conservatives and liberals about the issues. But often, the emotions flare up, both sides drawn their line in the sand, and we can't talk about jack after that. And it's only going to get worse in 2016.

You and your "highly educated Dutchmen" think that Trump is an idiot? Why exactly? Because he wants to establish a Southern border instead of letting anybody who can swim the river cross? That's a crazy idea? Because he wants to ensure the safety of our country before agreeing to admit any Syrian refugee? That's crazy? Nope.

It's not bigoted or "crazy" to want to have a common-sense way to admit immigrants into our country. Just look at what happened in Europe! You swung too far to the self-loathing side that you decided to admit anybody who can hop on a boat or train to get into your countries, and now you have to deal with a Muslim community who at best chooses not to integrate into society and at worst conducts terrorist operations under your nose.
