I hate to say this, but i really want the Sixers to win. It might be enough to convince Les to tank. You know Morey is all about that tank job, but Les has never let him. I know Morey has already imagined adding 1 of the best college players out there or even a Dragan Bender to Harden and Dwight duo. That OR trading our lottery pick along with Dwight for a Boogie Cousins.

This season is lost. Even if we recover, we only end up getting our butts kicked by one of GS, SAS, OKC, LAC, MEM or WORST of all losing embarrassingly to Dallas....ugh.

Q: Odds of Dwight resigning this summer if we end up a lottery team?
    A:
    The same. He's leaving anyway

Well I guess technically I already do, but I guess she would just get the satisfaction of knowing that I'm having to pay for that specifically because of this lol

Man I tried.. But she said the Rockets winning and me being able to watch the games should be enough of a reward.. I'm good with that I guess lol

I wouldn't be so sure. His salary for the next year 23.3M. That's a lot of money even with a cap increase. As I understand the cap doesn't fully kick in until 17/18 or 18/19 season? I don't think there's any guarantee that he's going to get a contract that pays 24M or more yearly. So maybe it would make sense for him to opt in and play that season out and then sign another big contract with the new salary cap.

Honestly I would be surprised if they fire Morey. He's done a pretty great job getting the Rockets the players they need to compete for a title. I don't think its really his fault the team is underperforming. But then again, if this team keeps losing, I'm not sure that anyone will be safe.. :(

You don't understand right. The cap rise will be from next season and the season after that and then there will be potentially a slight dip.
23.3 in 17/18 will be less than the rookie max.

Thanks for clarifying. Still, I'm not convinced he's going to opt-out.
