This whole benching Lawson thing is starting to piss me off!!! He will never get comfortable if you don't play him!!!!
JBB was born in 1979. He's younger than a handful of players. Kobe, Duncan, KD, Paul pierce to name a few. I don't think he is the answer, but you have to stick with him until the end of the season now. Don't be like the Kings last year and have 3 coaches in a season. Just hire someone new in May.
They made their decision when they fired mchale. They put JBB as coach for season. I don't think he can take this team to the next level. However, you have to give him the rest of the season no matter what. Maybe he proves everyone wrong. The Kings gave Ty Corbin the interim tag for the remainder of last year after canning Malone and then after like 10 games blantanly went after Karl. Ty was never a good coach but that was completely unprofessional for the Kings to do that during the season to Corbin and nobody deserves that. But dumpster fire organizations will do that. Just give JBB the rest of the year to prove himself. If it doesn't work out, then hire someone after the season.
He should be here until a legit head coach can be found Could be next year I do not care much about this season anymore except get a good player in the draft!

This team developed so many bad habits under McHale's "coaching" in 4 years that it will take an entire cleansing of the coaching staff to get them back. J.B. wasted 4 years being taught the wrong things about coaching from McHale. He needs to sit out and go follow the shadows of his dad for a while so that he can get back to real coaching.
Funny how all those bad habits manifested themselves in the offseason when no coaches were around to foster them. Seems like they had good habits last year when we got to the WCF... Oh wait, I'm arguing with the biggest troll on CF -nvm, carry on then.
Corey Brewer is the worst player on the entire roster and he has to foul out in order to not be on the court. If Bickerstaff isn't smart enough to not play Brewer, he doesn't belong coaching the Rockets.
Clearly the Bickerstaff is the problem during the first part of the season in the first place. He was the associate head coach and in charge of the defense, and problems have persisted. Why would anyone be surprise the Rockets employ the same tactics when the Bickerstaff was in charge both then and now. It is time to cure the Rockets of the Bickerstaff Infection.
